    wood burning on open fires

    sticky boiled sweets

    freshly baked cookies just out of the oven

    fresh croissants smell

    smell of hot chocolate just when you are straight after making it

    Don't mean to be crass, but I love the smell of my own farts. If I'm lying in bed in the dark and I feel a deep buttock belch bubble out under the sheets I always exhale sharply and take a moment. I then submerge my whole head in the warm stench filled atmosphere of sub-blanket conditions and fill my nostrils with the smell, savouring its every subtlety and loving every second of it.

    If it were somebody else's farts I would run a mile, but if its mine I delight in the odour. Strange that.
