I had 2 calls from PayPal 3 weeks ago. One was in English, another in Russian. They said they would be back in contact with me within the next 2 weeks. Unfortunately it never happened... Does it mean that they are no longer interested? I am a native Russian speaker.

Hi, there. Has anyone recently got a job offer from Paypal or are they still conducting screening phone and personal interviews?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15 dott

I don't think they are done with the interviews yet. As far as I'm aware they are taking people in mid of July so they still got time...

Opps, we didn't mean it in a bad way :-)

Just when they announce it's a great thing for Irish jobs in dundalk we kinda expected it'd help a lot of people in the area

But honestly welcome and enjoy, we are a friendly bunch . U'll love Dundalk :-) good luck with interview.

Most of the jobs will be given to non Irish, just like in the UK they have to be seen filling quotas, even if the person is unsuitable.

Don't worry. None taken. :) I've met that approach earlier so i tend to play on it. ;)

Why would they hire someone unsuitable, just to fill a spot? That sounds expensive?

Has anyone else had an interview or received a call about an interview?

If so was it an English speaking role or a different language role?

I haven't heard from them in a month. I had two telephone interviews for English speaking role.

It looks like the whole recruitment process takes PayPal longer than they expected... The best policy for the hopefuls might be to grin and bear it:D Hopefully no one will turn blue in the process:o

About a week, i would say. It was a small group there today. 7-8 of us. Only Scandinavians i think.

I think they only can handle small groups at the time and they will need lots of staff, so i woldn't worry just yet. ;)
