-Ophelia symbolizes innocence, she can't survive in the corrupted environment of Elsinore, flower imagery associated with her
-Ophelia contrasted with Hamlet - Hamlet pretends to be mad while Ophelia genuinely goes mad, both Ophelia and Hamlet lose their fathers, the fact that Ophelia can't deal with similar circumstances to Hamlet shows Hamlet's strength of character
-Hamlet's attitude towards women, "get thee to a nunnery" scene, when Hamlet chastises Gertrude, a lot of Hamlet's disillusionment with life is due to his disgust at his mother and the way he feels betrayed by Ophelia
-Ophelia is expected to obey her father without question, Gertrude seems incapable of an independent existence and marries Claudius immediately after her husband's death - this is due to society's attitude towards women and the way Gertrude and Ophelia have been taught to act

Just a few points off the top of my head, haven't looked at Hamlet in a few weeks so I can't remember much more.

edit: you could also talk about women representing deception, "god hath given you one face and you make yourselves another" or something like that.

I've got a feeling they're going to put up the same exams as last year. Just a hunch....Could be slightly problematic for english though :/

    What :O I don't understand?

To be honest, I don't fully understand myself! It came to me in a dream and my dreams have a tendency of coming true! For example; Last week I dreamt that I'd be eating weetabix for breakfast. Wanna know what I had for breakfast? That's right, weetabix.

Most likely experiments: Boyle's Law, fundamental frequency of a stretched string, resistivity, one of the specific heat ones, possibly equilibrium for coplanar forces (the metre stick one).

I reckon Joules Law could come up too? But the expts. are pretty easy imho! There's no hard equations which is where I always fall down :pac:

Don't go with predictions, the majority will be wrong. I listened to predictions last year and made a balls of 2 subjects as a result. If you're going to listen to predictions (against I'd say don't) at least ensure you know a decent amount of the course in general. Many teachers will give conflicting predictions as it's all subjective, that's what they are, predictions.

Defi make sure you Know fish And eggs!! Also nutrient wise most likely will be B group vitamins, lipids, and minor minerals but look over carbohydrates also.
Household technology is due is go over the appliances and marraige and the elderly for socilogy, ih and sensory analysis

for section c, social science, special needs and education would be worth while lookin over. They milked every question possible on the family so it's unlikely to come up

Know your Break-even chart. They could easily throw it up as a sneaky 25 marker in a Q.7. It's one of those things that if you don't know how to do them, you can't attempt the question. Regardless of how nice the other two parts are!

Also TQM hasn't been up in an age, Categories of Industry and Business plans!

But eggs came up in our assignments and usually anything that does come up in the assignment wont come up in the exam ? And fish came up in 2010 so do ya think it will come up so soon again? :/

Categories of Industry question with the ABQ maybe? They seem to like that.

'Evaluate the benefits for the business of changing from a partnership to a private limited company' kind of thing, just a guess cos I've seen that type of thing on a lot of sample ABQs

Oh! Yeah, they do seem very fond of that. I took categories of industry to mean primary/secondary/tertiary, A1 here I come :o
