Tightened a nut on one of the engine mounts that I forgot to torque up last weekend with the weight of the engine re-applied. Much better.

Bought a Maxxis MAZ4S Victra to replace the dunlop that lose it's life to a kerb and egged the side wall.

Impressive tyre. £62 fitted which is the cheap than camskill delivered.

Thinking of matching the other side and taking off the enduro.

I think it's generally a good idea to have the same tyre on each side.

Not to mention that having two different tyre types (Radial, Assymetric etc) on the same axle is a fail for the NCT.

Its different construction that fails the NCT, i.e radial, crossply etc.

Unfortunatly having assymetric, directional etc isn't a fail.

    @JerCotter's E36

What model is that? 318is? I was looking at getting an E30, but they seem to be too old for me to get insurance on. To be honest, that's one of the first E36's that I've seen that I actually like the look of! :)

Although, it needs BBS wheels! :pac:

That said, I want BBS alloys on absolutely everything!!! Mmm... BBS....

That's a bargain. They make a big difference to the car (in a subtle way)!

Replaced a leaking Intercooler on the Toledo today. I knew it was making a funny sound with some time :P

Got kinda bored as well and gave the spare face from the old clocks out of the Toledo a rub of the buffer as the Cupra ones had swirled face on them and wanted to replace it.
    Came out quite good
    Did a 50/50 to show.

Yeah 318is. Can't get insured in anything bigger under my own name yet.

I want to get BBS RS for it but that will have to wait for a bit and I will redo the AC's for winter wheels.

    Make sure its compliant.

Some manufacturers use specific types that cannot be simply topped up with water afaik. (toyota red for example)
