Very non Liverpool shade of red, more Roma like than anything.

yep, not sure if getting away from the traditional red of the club is a good idea. The "Candy" red jersey with the white flecks was a bit darker than our normal colour, but this looks like a different colour altogether.

Maybe Warrier didn't put as much emphasis on the traditional red of the club as they should have. Still, i'm sure the club are fine with it if thats the colour they are going with, they'd have been consulted. Or could it just be a dodgy scan and perhaps the real thing will not lok like a Roma shirt. Aside from the change in colour i think its decent enough. The collar is so bad on the current one it could only be improved upon.

edit: just seen the very latest pic, looks a bit lighter red now than the previous pic

Ryan Babel retweeted this article. I'm assuming he wouldn't have if it were anywhere near true, or so I hope. Not what we need to happen.

The worry about that kit, is if it's correct then the purple 3rd kit with silly tribal symbols on arms is probably real too. They first appeared in same pic together.

The gold could be making it look a bit darker, might have looked a bit lighter if the crest and sponsor were in white.

It is a nice kit, has a kinda traditional feel to it, not as good as most of the mock ups doing the rounds though. I don't like the name and number being in white though while all the other detail is in gold.

I just wanna see this 'out there' third kit.

Not a big fan of the gold, especially mixed with the white squad numbers.

It's here if you're talking about the leaked rumoured one. It's not that bad. A bit garish but it'll hardly ever be worn.

I saw a fairly hi-res pic of the new crest the other day, looked legit, was gold on black, embroidered. Wasn't in keeping with that rumoured 2nd kit.

The bottom half of the home kit in that link looks like the bottom half of the current one...stripes seem to be missing from the actual kit.

Remember that gold one with black design we had?. Must be about 15 years ago now.
That was so bad it was actually good. Always reminds me of that time we got hammered at The Dell in the snow with the red ball though.

Roberto Martinez is the definition of flavour of the month right now. There are many more attributes needed to be a really top class manager. The ability to play expansive football is only one of them.

The fact he pulled Wigan out of the fire at the right time has got him all the headlines. He never had Valencia or Palacios in his team either, both were sold the Summer he got the job. His Wigan stats read as follows

In charge for 126 games, Won 33, Drew 36, Lost 57. I'd take a closer look at the bigger picture before basing any judgement on the last 8 games of the season.

Its all about perception, if Wigan spend half the season in the top 10 and then slid into the relegation battle and finished on same points as they will this season, then his management looks alot less impressive.

When you finish strongly, a crap start is more or less forgotten. When you finish poorly, a great start is forgotten.

Seems to be able to do it when the pressure is on though and gets the best out of limited funds. I don't think he is ready for Liverpool yet though.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

That's not the one I am talking about the below is, also this second kit matches the high res crest pic from the Liverpool website promoting the launch that you are talking about?

While they are lovely, they are 100% not the actual Kits.

Unfortunatly they are closer to this according to a number of Eyewitness Reports on RAWK.

And yes, that is a horrible looking 3rd Jersey

First two are lovely but that third kit is ridiculous. Hope they never have to wear that if these are the real kits

Would anyone want Rafa to return with anything but a very large spending budget? Unless FSG are willing to invest heavily on a regular basis, I can't see Rafa being successful.
why is there a theory that Rafa needs a kings ransom to be successful?

he bought Reina, Agger, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Alonso and Lucas for a relative pittance. Although not as important Luis Garcia, Benayoun, Kuyt and Sissoko were cheap aswell considering what they produced on the pitch. Other players like Bellamy, Crouch, Carson, San Jose, Leto were all sold for good profits to enable other signings plus Mascherano and Torres although dear also netted the club big big money.

We always challenged in Europe and every club hated playing us, out of six seasons we had two excellent league campaigns. If anything it was the constant unrest at boardroom level that caused the club to buckle at a time when we had some excellent players but no money available to get some squad depth.

So question should be not if Rafa would want to return with anything but a hefty budget but more like would Rafa like to return under a healthy ownership who actually know something about sport.

    From Feintzebra.

The full B and W pic is apparently on the Warrior site, they just added in the red and.....orange?

Looks a bit too Roma esque.
