Was in London at the weekend.

Those gambling machines in the bookies realy have the people hooked
    on them.

I saw one guy betting £30 a spin on computerised roulete.

Also a man around 60 complaining because the same number came out 4 times in a row.He then started banging the maching with his fist before spiting  on the screen and storming out.

Crazy, wouldn't touch them. Have seen a few mates on them and they'd try put a €1 (or whatever minimum is) on black and it'd end up putting a €10 on red. Dodgy as fcuk they are.

They are mad into them machines. I suppose When people back Virtual racing (No3 in steepledowns) shouldn't be surprised.

Should get US down as well and make a real night of it!

Carrick's great craic on a good night - the only problem is that it's an awful spot to end up getting wired in. Plenty of scum about, and that's putting it lightly.

Yeah I've noticed. We don't really go or stay too late in the obvious places though, too many jumped up kids for me !!
Ah I do like Carrick though, some great pubs around.

havent seen motm markets on non major televised games. Looking at a coupon from powers they settle some markets on the initial decision of the press association. Do you have a particular match in mind?

This is NOT aftertiming but I have to mention it in order to tell the story.
Was with my GGF (or whatever ye young people call yer good female drinkin buddys) today.
Had a few bob on Namir in the 5.45 Also did the reverse on Namir and My Meteor.
After the photo I was half happy about the win and half annoyed that the f/c didnt come in.
The GGF (as I call her) who knows nuttin about racing came up with 'it could have been worse'. Me: 'why?'. Her: 'they could all have fallen over'. Me: 'wha???. Her: 'doesnt that happen all the time in racing? They said it after the Grand National' Me: I'm goin for a fag'.

Moral of story: Either the press are giving racing a very bad name or the racing people arent doing enough to educate people about racing.

As some of ye know I've been a vegetarian for nearly 40 years and hate anything that hurts animals. I also know horses love what they do best which is why I have always loved racing.

Sorry bout the long post but the 'falling over' bit has been stuck in my head since and this is prob the only place that can understand what I'm on about.

Some lad was in my job yesterday printing BBC/ESPN reports off, he was saying how he backed Mata to be MOTM in the FA Cup Final with PP but they're saying Drogba was MOTM even though the two live channels the match was on both noted Mata as the MOTM.

its an awful mug bet. Different organisations choose their own motm. He should have been clear on the source before making the bet.
