A woman enters the lift every day to go to work. In the evening she gets into the lift again to get to her flat. If it's a sunny day she will only get the lift halfway to her storey. If it's a wet day she will take the lift for the whole journey.

    Why?

Well, I didn't want to just come out and ask for one, but now that you mention it, I could always use a spare... :o

She's a dwarf, and when it's raining she'll have an umbrella to hit the proper floor number...

The upper floors are somehow exposed to the elements, like she has to take the fire escape or something?

The "lift" is not an elevator, but a car pool with a friend?

In the sense that Irish people would "Get a lift with someone"?

Maybe people have heard this one but I'll try it anyway.

This is a story about a girl.

While at the funeral of her own mother, she met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much the dream guy that she was searching for that she fell in love with him immediately.

However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was.

A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: Why did she kill her sister?

He was her sister's husband and she wanted her out of the way so she could have him.

Though if I were a psychopath I might say she killed her in the hope that seeing as the man showed up for her mother's funeral, he might also show up for her sister's :D.

Yeah, you're all too clever for me. :)

However I will try once more:

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus, an old lady who looks as if she is about to die, an old friend who once saved your life and the perfect partner you have always dreamt of.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Having said that, if you left out the "three people" part then one could say that they are all the same person!! Just a though!!!:):):p

Give your friend a loan of your car to drive the old lady to the hospital, catch the bus to 'bangtown' with your perfect partner.

It was already solved, the answer was:

"There's a dead body on the roof of the elevator"
