some of it was seriously, seriously hateful, it's just disgusting that people could even talk about other human beings like that...

So why read it? I won't go near a cancer thread in AH cause I know some knob will upset me. Why can't you just not click on it?

I guess it's because I feel like I can make a difference, most of the time people are just ignorant of trans issues, and don't really understand it. I sometimes feel like I need to make a counter point to a lot of hateful viewpoints that are flying about, I think stuff like that festers if it's not challenged.

I agree but I've seen them at you before and they're just not worth it. You'll never change their tiny little minds.

Today was fun :) It's always lovely to see friends after a long time and be able to slot back into the way things were when you were always together!

I'm utterly beside myself with nerves about next Monday though. I really hope this week goes by quickly because I doubt I can withstand five or so more days of this :/

My husband eats in a Thai restraunt and the waiter is a male dressed as a female, we don't take any notice, I don't like Thai food I only eat the rice...

    Whatever floats your boat ;)
    is she actually transgender?

I suppose it makes the thai experience that bit more authentic though ;)

oh it's not their minds I'm trying to change, it's whoever else might be reading.

Not sure I ever mentioned this, but one of my best friends back home is trans and she is marrying her girlfriend in February. I can't wait for the wedding!

Back from kickboxing round 2, I love it. My muscles are now starting to pop out of my arms, I don't even have to tense them to feel them....

I've boxed my knuckles black and blue on both hands, have to hide them from my husband he would hate me hurting myself, I never even realized they were bruised till I got home, the index and pinky knuckles are really bad, the others are bruised but no where near as bad....

Have to remember to take of my engagement ring next week... It cuts into me when I punch.

Im really good at the backwards kick and high double kick. Working on doing the splits but that ain't happening any time soon...

Ohh snap! I was at kickboxing a couple of hours ago too :) Was supposed to go to Taekwondo beforehand but had to bring the dog to the vets.

It was good but was a little slow paced. A lot of the people in there are not very fit. And I would have preferred full contact, but it was fun! Will be going back to my normal training in college next week just going to this guy during the holidays.

Keep stretching at home everyday and you'll get the splits in a few weeks!

    Can all of us come?

    :D

    Pretty please?

I promise I'll be good. I can't actually promise that but I won't bring any illegal fireworks or anything of questionable safety so that should help a bit.

They found an old museum that is a converted one room school house for the ceremony and reception, so it is very folksy. From what I hear so far, it will be very casual and fun :) They are big into artisan beers and such so it will be a blast!

Push one out, it'll defuse the situation.
