All new tie rods and centrelink installed. Started at midnight on Friday, probably a bad idea when you reach the final step to realise the left and rights are the wrong way round. :p

Problem was always knocking from the front left, the left ball joint on the centrelink was completely shot, flopping around like rope.

    Old and new.

Tie rod joints were also very poor. Had sprayed lithium grease under the boot months back, solved the problem for a good while:

I matched up the tie rod position with tape on the old set to the new set, drove it home that night and I had it spot on! Still, got it aligned the next day with new tyres put on too.

    Speedboat shot:

    New Kumho's, very nice:

Floats and steers like a cloud now!

Is that your own personal garage voodoo?!

Nice focking garage alright and the shine of your car is immense.

Not a garage no, but have a good bit of extra space at work so stuck the roller door in. Only around the corner so its nice and handy.

Sprayed the entire bumper trim and door strips black too, looking like new at the mo.

Same thing happened me! Only 1 HD wax left. Typical that they'd have an uneven number of them in stock!

    Excellent work as usual erin!

We're getting our D/As this week but of course it's going to be raining constantly! What I wouldn't give for a garage :(

That's savage value, I paid a good bit more than that but am still chuffed relative to what a basic karcher model would cost.

Was on the Aran islands for the weekend, ferry this evening was cancelled so had to get a ferry to Connemara instead, then a bus to Galway, then another bus home, then a taxi to the house.
then tomorrow we'll have to drive to doolin to collect her micra (providing it hasn't disintegrated in the meantime)

Just realised this wasn't the OT thread...

Was with Mer shampoo! Seriously good car wash, very good suds.

Mer and Meguiars (Megs) are 2 different brands but you're right to assume that Meguiars Gold Class car shampoo is good ;)

I'd go for Hyperwash over the GC though. Either that or Shampoo Plus.

not the best photos but i removed the ball part of the towbar, i think it cleans up the back end even more, kind of stuck with the trailer socket though and i dont want to cut it off because i'd like the option of towing :o

also gave it a long overdue clean!
    i'm no photographer...
