I can't afford g27 just yet ( can't justify it ), but controller would be handy. I am itching to play some shift 2 and test drive ( new one ). Played some with keyboard, but got to the stage, where I can't properly control fast cars. :(

Indeed, amd there is no surround, it's just slapped on there amd viewing angle should be terrible...

Anyway, anyone know what delivery method complet is using amd how long do they take to deliver?! Ask I'm other thread, but no response. Btw are the Xbox controllers fr pc are the best to get? Or some Logitech are better? Can't play my racing games at all with dm keyboard.

Pretty sure An Post handles all Komplett deliveries these days.

EDIT: BTW You have an Xbox already don't you? If so this is your new best friend.

Does anybody else have an Asrock z68 pro3 gen3 and a Fractal R3? Got mine today and the HD audio lead from the case isn't long enough to reach the Hd audio port on the mobo, could I get an extender?

Just installed a Sabretooth into a R3. Same thing.
Luckily I have a sound card with those connections and it fit nicely :p

Thanks, got it sorted anyway, had to run it under the graphics card, now the problem is with one of my hard drives, I can't put the side panel on because both the cables of the power and sata connectors are sticking a bit out (I've heard sata cables are kind of fragile so I'm nervous to try and just force it).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,181 ✭✭✭Serephucus

You can bend it. Should be fine. The connectors can be a little weak, but the cable should be fine for bending or what have you.

One for €8.42 including shipping. I have had the one off DX for quite a while now and it works perfectly (Third party device btw, not the same one that was linked above on Amazon but it works as well)

Quick one for ye. When installing Win7 on SSD you change to AHCI in the BIOS, do you have to change it back to SATA after the installation or do you leave it on AHCI?

    Leave as AHCI.

6GB 7970s might be rolling out soon:
    http://www.tweaktown.com/news/23361/sapphire_hd_7970_toxic_sports_6gb_of_ram_factory_overclocked_slick_cooler/index.html
OCLab overclocked the card with its stock cooler and reached 1300MHz on the Core, and 1900MHz on the memory.

And he'll forever be that guy. Forget Microsoft, he'll always just be the guy that though you would only ever need 640K of RAM.

Oh yeah of course, (I knew someone was gonna say that) but I was wondering if it's worth waiting until the rest of the 6 series is out.

    Badly phrased on my part.

Had no idea until I cam across this ultra reliable info*

It looks like the €200 card will be of a similar performance to the 570 and will be released in the next like 2 months.

With that in mind the 570 looks mighty tempting...

*I'd be surprised if it were actually reliable.

    ...bastard...

I'm not really, I've been using my 4870 happily for the last few years.
BF3 is the only game I've had to play on low since I got it.
    But...

    so... z77 is here.

I'm a bit behind on the chipset, so anyone want to give me a quick summary on what the differences are between it and z68?
too lazy to read a full review...

to be specific, it looks like the asrock z77 extreme6 is a similar price to my z68 extreme4 gen3.
