As for me - sorry I couldn't go with you to Gypsy Rose afterwards - my hearing isn't the best in loud environments, so I would just have been sitting there getting drunk.

God I feel your pain on that front :o But we somehow managed to find a spot next to the dancefloor that was probably quieter than anywhere in the Black Sheep :D
The dancing was wonderful! I haven't had a good boogie in aaages!

Its a very good (or should I say bad?) sign that I'm completely and utterly blitzed when I take to the dancefloor!

Was excellent to see some familiar faces, and meet those of you I hadn't met before.

It was a great night, as is usual for a Noct beers :D

If you can read this, you're too close!

Good thing I didn't though as would have been cross posting to get more folks I know from other forums to come. Like to kill alot of birds with one stone :pac:

Heeeeeeeeeeeey....you should know your computers right? Which would be better a HP or Toshiba? :D

There'd have been no cross posting, this was Noc only! Don't want them usurpers invading our beers.

Well it was a toss up between these two ones online

    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Toshiba_Satellite_Pro_C660-2DN_1143384.html

    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/HP_635_1166147.html

But I've never bought anything like that online and would be very worried if something happened. Least if I bought from a store I could simply take it back in the next day!

So store wise it's PC World only going on what's on the website maybe there might be another good one in store:

    http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/TOSHIBA-Satellite-C660D1C7-156andquot-Laptop-Black/309572/301

Processing speeds among others is something I haven't a clue about!

Don't be daft, if something goes wrong, you post it back to wherever and they fix it :)

Out of the 4 you've picked, I'd go for the first one (Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-2DN) cause it's got an Intel i3 which is considerably better than an AMD chip. The rest of the specs are more or less the same across all 4.

Acer are worth a look if you see one of those you like too.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L350-235 the past couple of years and i LOVE it :)

Also use a HP for work, prefer my Toshiba though :)
