was a farmers protest at kildare chilling and I decided to join in, as I was a farmer, TV3 came along to film it for the news and guess who they interviewed and broadcasted? I really had feck all idea what we were protesting about, but was young and photogenic. The TV3 girl was a doll too. Think I blagged it enough to "represent" the cause. My auld lad was on TV all the time for no other reason than he was a character who RTE used to call in as a bit of craic to interview about various topics. He always seemed to be in the newspapers as well mainly because he had a lot of celebrity mates but it was a mystery to me why. He's dead years now, but people still hear my surname and ask "was your dad Mr Pottler?" - jasus he was great craic.. I blush at the stories they tell me. Never knew the old dog had it in him.:)

Me : camera as cat : mirror.

Also gave Ray a bollicking when he was doing handshakes at the end after we got knocked out because of the ridiculously easy questions the other side got.

    72 / x = 9 what is x?

Seriously. Three point question. We lost by 1.

[/15 years later and I'm not bitter]

Now why the **** did you not do it on air when the question came up? Seriously! Classic TV moment and personal shop-window opportunity wasted!

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Myself and my work colleague were relentlessly followed by a TV crew while we solved some of the worlds most complicated cases usually in weekly TV slots. - often involving interference from forces from outer space. I no longer do that kind of work and the world is deteriorating at a frightening rate. If I can relocate my partner we may have to return to Quantico soon enough before 2012 takes us all. I miss my old boss John. X files beats X factor any day.

I was in a pipe band years ago, when I lived in South Africa, and we toured the country. We appeared on TV several times, including coverage of a large festival, and a concert we did with an orchestra. There's no footage out there, as far as I can tell ...

I haven't been though the closest I've come was to be in the audience for the RTE show Eureka when I was in Primary school, but that was ruined when my teacher refused to bring me with the rest of the class because she didn't want to be looking after any 'messers'. Being possibly the quietest people in the class I don't know what she was on about, but a great way to alienate me even more from the class.

When rte were reporting outside a house a few years back, I passed by in my car and seen it that evening on telly, so I really wasn't but my car was :D

A few quick glimpses on various things, mostly racecourses or in the crowd at GAA matches.

One of my sisters and I were also some of Dustin's most critical opponents in his Stamp Out Line Dancing campaign (SOLD).

Many a furious letter was sent to Den headquarters in defence of innocent line dancers (no idea why we cared about them), not forgetting to point out that SOLD was supposed to mean Save Our Lough Derg and he shouldn't be hijacking this important campaign. We were a right pair of douches in fairness, but he did read out our letters.

Blackboard Jungle when I was 15, lost in the first round. I think I still have the Sony Walkman somewhere at home, gathering dust.
