I used to work at a stables in Limerick, and Amanda Byram went there to film in that TV3 show "Something for the Weekend". I was in a quick shot taking her for a stroll through the fields :D

When I lived in Chicago, we got front row on Jerry Springer, and because of the distinct Irish accents, we got to leave a greeting at the end of the episode!

I was a sign carrier at the 2005 irish open and was in the shot for hours when I was assigned to a golfer who was doing well, struggling to hold the sign in constant drizzle. Oh the glory.

Was on The Den when I was 5. They would hold up a photo that had been sent in by your parents, the camera would zoom in and Ray and Socks would wish ya a happy birthday. Not technically there in person. I remember it well, I was delighted with myself.

Was interviewed twice by RTE News on IT features as some sort of a spokesperson, and was on TechTV for about 10 minutes explaining Linux to people. Was in the audience of Scratch Saturday too when I was about 10, never so disappointed ... as a kid I thought the place was HUGE, turns out it was smaller than the halla mór in my School.

I was interviewed on TG4 for my opinion of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" on the way out of the screen in the cinema, alongside another Irish guy and the only other person willing to volunteer who was a French guy who didn't really know what was going on and only uttered the word "ocht," which had been fed to him, when asked to give a rating for the film.

I was also in a documentary on Japanese TV. I was teaching a group of kids who'd come here to learn English, and their trip was being filmed for the documentary. The cameraman was in class the whole time everyday, filming me struggle to get these incredibly shy ten-year olds to speak!

I haven't seen it, but I'd imagine I'm now pretty big in Japan :pac:.

I was on Pop 4 on TG4 in 5th year. They rang my school and my teacher volunteered me. Got phoned for tv quiz where they told me the answers. I got through to a semi-final and had to go head to head under the spotlights and be recorded and I failed miserably.

As a five year old I was interviewed for RTE by a man dressed as a piece of seaweed at the Galway Arts festival years ago.

Incidentally my job is to decide who goes on the TV. The best looking/funniest usually win out.

I was in a tourism DVD for Jesery, i was over there working and on my day off 4 of us were sitting out side a pub enjoying the good weather when a film crew came up to us. At the end of it they took our details and said they would send us on a copy of the DVD, they send a mate a copy, he texted me when he got it, but at that stage i was back home and never seen the DVD or that mate since.
