    Hi all,

Inviting you to post up your best (aka worst) lyrical one liner "put downs" in a song.

    Here's mine:

Kid Creole and The Coconuts: Annie I'm Not Your Daddy.

"See if I was in your blood, then you wouldn't be so ugly".

    Poor wee Annie..sob sob....

Worst Irish lyric I ever heard was paddy caseys ''Just get in your car, we can go and be a star''

it must have taken him all week to come up with that one.

Yes indeed I like that muchley Jammy D. Suggesting false hope to all wanna be 6 stringers...but is it a "Put Down"? Excellent choice tho my learned friend.

Kid Creole and The Coconuts: Annie I'm Not Your Daddy.
Been in my head all day. And for that, I'm gonna join in. Kinda a put down, but more a dose of reality:

Ooh Johnny Johnny Johnny what are you twenty-one ?
Ooh Johnny Johnny Johnny why don't you give it a rest
Ooh Johnny Johnny Johnny the world is a million
Ooh Johnny Johnny Johnny there can be no contest

    See also, Dre

    B!tch n!gga, you more of a b!tch than a b!tch
You ain't into hittin p*ssy, or hittin the switch
You into hittin b!tches off of the grip you punk b!tch
    and
When I met you last night, baby
Before I blew yo' mind, (blew-blew-blew your mind)
I thought we had a chance, lady
No more now that I'm sober you ain't that fine
No one liners for me, mind. All about the full verse disses.

Good call, obviously you are well read in "Lyrical Putdowns".

I think the University of East Anglia are now offering it as a optional module on their Popular Music BSc.

Call the Help Desk at UEA (also commonly called the University of Easy Access) and ask for the Dean of Faculty, "Put Me Downs". He is normally very obliging, on a good day.

Christ on a bike! A major psychopatic "Put-Down".

Did this particular lyrical gangsta ever offer some explanation or forgiveness/excuse for this particulary disturbing lyric?

On a scale of 1 to 10, this mother goes all the way to 11.:D

Yes, but in fairness, the Jackson boy didnt quite function in that department, so this was not a "Put Down" as such, more like an anticipation of legal proceedings. Which seemed to work, as far as we know. :D

Holy sh1t! More psychopathic lyrical ganstas.

In fairness, is this a quality put down from a smug "suit-and-tie" psychopatic ass hole, or the last words of a drug crazed lunatic who is just about to blow his/her owns brains out?

Cant deny tho, its as "bad ass" as "bad ass" can be. Thank u for sharin:D

I seen him once, in Camden Town, Sunday market day. He was walking around head angled, trying to be anonymous, but also looking to see if anyone noticed him. In the 20 seconds he was in my view, nobody did.
