Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if this is real or not but I think it's a great idea:D,

In fact we could just cut off the west side of the island.

    Any thoughts?

If we're going to play this game then Cashel should be the new capital of Ireland

Our greatest leader Brian Boru ruled from there.

Risky move, you'd have to wonder what will flow out of the country once the cork has been removed

First road in Ireland was from the Rock of Cashel to the Hill of Tara, Either or both of these should be the real capitals;)

I know, from between Shannon/Limerick myself. C'mere'n I'll tell you a question, ain't it a sad shtate when you have to pretend you're from somewhere else to make it seem like you're not a waster?
Here I am, being a waster in Cork. The shame.

Wouldn't mind too much as long as they sold Cork to a country that knows how to actually run a country. Think us Corkonians would be getting the better end of the deal! :p

You cut off the west coast of Ireland, and I'd move back.

.....to the west coast of Ireland.

Plenty of natural gas that they would have the balls to claim for their own.

To be fair, if you did put all the counties in Ireland up for sale, Cork is the only one that would sell. We'd have to pay someone to take any of the other 31 off us! :D

By the looks of the map on the video, they've already sold the North without telling us:mad::p

We should have known those cute hoors in Cork knew something we didn't!.
EXPLORATION company Providence Resources has struck oil and discovered the first commercial well off the Irish coast.

Providence Resources said flows in Barryroe, 50km from Co Cork, is almost double the 1,800 barrels of oil per day (bopd) barrier set by the firm as being commercial.
