Delorentos...I don't think I like them. But I'm basing that judgement on hearing them once. I just thought they were very generic I guess. The script are grand

I saw Bell x1 live recently and they were fantastic. They played their own version of horse outside. :P

I like Delorentos, met them once when they were touring with their album "In Love With Detail". Sound lads.

Their new album, Little Sparks is receiving great reviews all round.

That being said other Irish bands are just as good>>> I like Bell X1 (Juniper were excellent-when Damien Rice was in the band), the Flaws, Villagers (The Immediate should never have split up tho) and James Vincent McMorrow for male vocalists

Two Irish bands I've always despised were the Blizzards and the Script.

YES. Have to say I've never liked Republic of Loose, their music is a bit too...funkehhh (and not in a good way) for my liking >_>

Yeah he's fantastic, a bit like Ray Lamontagne and Mick Flannery but has his own unique sound too.

I never took to Republic of Loose, I saw them in concert before and Mick Pyro was off his face on drugs/drink.

They're definitely one of the best cover bands I've ever seen, I really love how in nearly all of their videos they make really interesting use of the instruments.
Like in this one, it's the one guy doing vocals, piano, ukelele, percussion, beatbox, chime. Incredible talent.

Agreed, insanely talented bunch. In this one he even uses a gun as an instrument!
