The jeans that look like they're painted on look absolutely rotten. Lads look like malnourished cartoon characters that Walt Disney locked up in his basement.

    On guys? I agree.

I love my jeans tight though so think I'll be hanging on to my skinnies!

Two years ago everyone was wearing looser jeans.

Then the price of cotton started to go up a lot. The price of jeans went up.

    Less people bought new jeans.

Therefore "fashion" changed, and lo and behold, you found yourself sneering at your loose jeans and yearning for a skinny pair so off you went to the shops to try and look like everyone else again.

Its kind of tragic isnt it? Its so predictable. Its a lot easier for men though so I shouldnt complain.

The thing is, boot-cut jeans are fugly.

    So what's the alternative?

    Ooohh you people are crazy!

I wear basically nothing but skinny jeans! I'm tall and thin, so I suppose it works on my body shape, but definitely for a LOT of girls my age, skinny jeans are a staple.

Also, I love them on guys. However, not all guys They really have to be tall and lean to pull it off, imo. Don't really like shorter, stocky guys wearing them. I think it's funny how some girls hate them on all guys though.

I can still keep my jeggings though, right?

Men with tight jeans don't seem to be around much anymore.

Now what we need to focus on now is men, and especially teenagers, wearing fedoras.

    You don't look cool!

I saw a kid of about 14 wearing one at the cinema the other day and I have never hated a person more in my entire life.

    Except that's a trilby.

    This is a fedora...

But is a trilby not a type of fedora?

My instinct was to say fedora, but then I thought "hang on, maybe it's a trilby, I know they're similar."

So I googled it and wikipedia (I know!) told me a trilby is a type of fedora, so I went with fedora, thinking that'd cover me if it was a trilby.

Regardless of the name, most men I see wearing them look ridiculous anyway!

Skinny jeans aren't too bad - but those tapered jeans freak me out. Recently discovered there's a style called Guerilla, where it seems you basically walk bow legged.

Haha. I have had the displeasure of seeing those jeans on people. So odd. A right mad bow as well. It defies physics. If it's making your legs curve as such maybe it's a bad idea.

I can't abide by boot-cut to be honest. They always get shredded at the base and begin to look rancid. And those topman 'nappy' style efforts too are a disaster.

Slim cut jeans can work well in my opinion. Not too shear but not too tent-like like the aforementioned boot-cut.

I had to Google him, no idea who he is/was. Just had a quick look there though - isn't this essentially a woman's outfit?

I carry my own personalised individual hatred of Paul Galvin thank you very much, based on a variety of reasons I've given much thought to, only one of which is the head on him.

I don't give a damn about fashion (don't know what tapared or bootcut jeans are) - I wear whatever because I just don't give a f*ck tbh - now I know it's actually pissing people off what others wear will help me get through my day.

    Thank you.

Frankie Cocozza has done a great service to everyone that doesn't like skinny jeans. Fair play and thanks Frankie.

The trilby is behind the fedora in the first pic, Bogart is wearing a fedora, and the twonk is wearing a trilby.

A trilby is a fedora style with the brim cut short. A proper fur felt hat can be styled (blocked) in any number of ways from cowboy ten gallon to trilby, depending on preference soooo... technically.... a trilby is a type of cowboy hat :D

Bressie is the only man who can rock the skinny jeans look.
Personally I love my skinny jeans. Can be easily worn with boots over them or a nice heel.
What I can't stand is the boys shoes girls wear now. The ones with laces up them that should be worn on a man with a suit. Urghhhhhhnn

Yeah it must be far easier for women. Some women look pretty good in them but in general i don't like them much.

Its a nightmare for men. I preferred the days where you could easily wear runners, shoes, boots etc with your jeans without much hassle.

Sorry but he shouldn't be wearing skinny jeans he simply doesn't have the body type to wear them.

They suit certain people and I think that's what galls folk the most about them.

They suit very few people you need to have a certain body type to make them look good and it's a rare body type in men.

Then what style isn't? Because straight-leg jeans are fine on men, but not so much on women.

I personally like skinny jeans, they look good on me. If wanting to look fashionable is being a hipster then I don't really give a f*ck.
