Ryan Tubridy hosts Eurosong 2012, a show dedicated to selecting the act who will represent Ireland at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 22. The five finalists perform their entries in front of a panel of judges, before the winner is announced after a public vote. Also features special guests and Eurovision memories, including visits from 2006 Eurovision winners, Lordi and 1974 champions Brotherhood of Man.

I Think Donna McCaul is the best out of this lot . In saying that jedward in fairness to them have a good song too IMHO

I don't know, Liz.

The Voting system (50% Public Vote, 50% Jury Vote) could go against them if one of the other songs does very well on the night, and gets top marks from most or all of the jurys.

I think Jedward need a decent performance on the night, I don't think their song is as catchy as last year's effort.

It's little more than a circus of high camp, a musical black hole of unfathomable depth and a waste of time, money and effort in a celebration of utterly meaningless mediocrity. ABBA was the exception, a looooooong time ago.

He is in Dublin for the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
