If you're interested in other boards members getting in contact with you about meeting up for a cycle or two just "vote" for the county in which you are currently mostly situated.

This is for ROAD cyclists only.

The votes cast will be publically available to view.

I created a thread like this last year. However, baring in mind that some members may have since changed their residence and/or be new to this forum, I have decided to post it again.

I have changed the county pairings.

Due to the restriction of a maximum of 25 options I have had to pair some counties. For this I've used a best-fit algorithm based on each counties' geographical size and shape discance. Historical conflicts and GAA rivalries were not taken into consideration.

In which county are you currently mostly located? 188 votes

    Dublin/Wicklow is a bit vast. I am more Dublin/Meath.
Can you not give each county its own choice?
EDIT: I should have read the whole post before commenting - sorry.

You need to double up some since you can only have a maximum of 25 options in a poll.

Looking at the distribution of data, the numbers would justify having a separate poll just for the various areas in and around Dublin.

I don't think the size would, Dublin is the third smallest county in Ireland.

This is for ROAD cyclists only.

Now, does this apply to MTB owners who only cycle on the road or road bike owners only?

Perhaps a silly question but I said I'd ask anyway

It's early days yet regarding the data distribution but population density was one of the last aspects which I considered.

If you or anyone else feel that they could keep up on the road with the average road cyclist then feel free to join in.

It would not surprise me, if most of the cyclists are based in and around Dublin these days...given the number of population ;)

Based in Dublin but venture north as far as Meath, south as far as Wicklow and west as far as Kildare.

Wait another few months when fuel goes up to €5.50 per litre, the roads may get a bit quieter ;).

Keep it up lads and we will insist on visas and passport controls for the Dublin fraternity. Wicklow is the garden of Ireland. We want to keep standards high
