Hey CM, of course it's normal to go. I don't know your situation (are you in college?) because you could avail of the Student Councelling Service, it's free, call up & make an appointment. If you find it doesn't help, there's nothing lost. Even if you can't do it in college, i'd recommend going for a few sessions to see if it helps and focus on where you are & what you want out of life.

All depends on who you talk to I suppose,I'd consider it normal cos I've been seeing one for over a year now,but someone else might think differently.

I dreaded my first appointment,but I look forward to them now,find it quite handy having someone impartial who I can tell my troubles/worries/odd thoughts to,and not have to worry about someone else I know finding out about them.
