I'm finding the Circle Pad Pro attachment for the 3DS good, responsive and does exactly what it says on the tin.
There's no lag even though it's all using the infrared port for comms either.
Resi:Revelations plays a lot better with it too.
Can't wait to give MGS:3DS a lash with it.
Love to see a Metroid Prime type title to use it too...
The new Kid Icarus game is going to be compatible as well, so good stuff.

I just got my circle pad with resident evil in the door earlier, I also passed a milestone too, 15200 club nintendo points! So i just ordered the gold zelda statue Woot!

That was fast, must have blitzed through it. How was 10 hours of using the circle pad attachment?

It's done in an episodic manner so every half hour you get a big cliff hanger that kind of makes you keep playing... you do have to sit though a 'Previously on Resident Evil' bit though.

The Circle Pad Pro is great... I wasn't overly keen on the controls in the demo but playing with the circle pad pro greatly improves things. They give you a huge amount of options to customise the control layout too. You can change the first person view to third person when aiming for instance.

Restarted Resident Evil 5 last night as I'd never finished it before. Controls and the inventory are so frustrating compared to Revelations, I can move and aim in Revelations.

RE5 is pretty poor though. Even though I've played through most of it before I don't remember any of it as it's just not very interesting in any way. When you compare that to the other games where I actually feel like I grew up in Raccoon City!

I want to like Resi 5, just couldn't do it...
I have several editions of Resi 4, PS2, GC, Wii, don't know where the save games for my GC and PS2 editions are!
I'm going to have to start all over again!

I wonder if a 3DS compilation might be in the offing???
    With Resi:Revelations controls?
Would they break the earlier games?
I reckon they'd be a lot more fun tbh...
Not sure if Resi 2&3 would be, graphically, up to the challenge, while the rest have been updated the second and third games are still in PS pixel-O-vision, unless there is a far superior PC edition I don't know about.

There's a PC version of Resi 2. However it's a bitch to get running on new machines and Nvidia cards mess up the background tiles. Maybe try the Dreamcast version? Either that or just play the PS1 originals. You're supposed to be a retrogamer, you should be able to deal with a 320x240 pixellated mess.

I must get Resi 5 gold for all the DLC. It seems cheap now as well. I heard the DLC is really good and much better than the main game.

I also found Resi 5 pretty forgettible. It also starts tough and then gets alot easier.

An utterly brilliant description of RE on the PS1

Thief 2 is now on GoG. Definitely worth buy since the original is a bitch to get working on modern machines.

My girlfriend needed the teeth, she is 83 after all.
Although, I kind of preferred her without them :D:D

RE 1 is also on the PC. It's where I first played it anyway.

Well, we have the superb GC version for that, LOVE to see that on the 3DS, as well as Resi 4, they'd shine with the Resi:Rev controls

It's horrific on the pc, it somehow manages to graphically inferior to the PS1 even.

What even more of Retr0's beloved upskirt horribly pixelated 320x480 graphics???
Nothing quite beats Barry Burton testing blood by shoving his finger into it and it all rendered in something approaching voxels!

This is coming out on April 3rd in the US(not sure about Europe).
I want it so bad but have a feeling those power on sounds and disc tray sounds might be a little annoying after a while.

Such a shame Star Wars Kinect itself looks like one of the most appalling games released in the last decade. I know they claim to have improved it since the E3 showing, but really it looked beyond fixing.
