    I won €25 on a bet earlier so was going to throw it on something in the SuperBowl. I havent a clue about the SuperBowl but am going to stay up and watch it.

    What about under or over a total of 53 points, both are 10/11??

    Any opinions on if there will be more or less than 53 points in the game?

    Under the total is usually a good bet for the Super Bowl, lots of people betting the over inflates the line.

    Cris Carter is an unbelievable douchebag. He has been completely anti-Patriots all week. Running out of things he can criticise, he's now saying that the Patriots ruined the introductions at the Super Bowl by choosing to be introduced as a team rather than individually 10 years ago. :rolleyes:

    Delighted he wasn't a HOF inductee this year tbh.

    What are the rates like for ad space outside the US for this, IMO, we get sh1t ads over here on Sky,C4, ESPN etc in the last few years.

    Wouldn't pay much attention to him, I'd imagine he's letting his emotions over not making the HOF get the better of him!

Was listening to an interview with Jay Kornegay during the week, who runs the sports-book at the Las Vegas Hilton, and he said this specific bet has been a great money-maker for them over the years. 3 unanswered scores happens way more often than people think. Pinnacle Sports have 'No' at 7/5, so 6/5 is definitely bad value.

    For people making last-minute bets, I think the Paddy Power first-touchdown offer is good value.

    "Paddy Power will refund all losing First Touchdown, First Team Touchdown, Anytime Touchdown, First 2nd Half Touchdown and Last Touchdown scorer bets if there is a Touchdown scored in the last 2 minutes of regular time in this match."

    A touchdown in the last 2 mins of the game happens about 25% of the time, so a fair part of the time you're getting your money back.

    I went for Hakeem Nicks as first touchdown scorer. Note that the Giants are about 75% to have the first possession. The Patriots nearly always defer when they win the toss, and the Giants defer about 50% of the time.
