I know a few of the guys here are into their video editing so thought I'd post this.
They just released an iPad port of Avid Studio. I just downloaded it there and had a quick bash and its actually all right for an iPad video editor. It runs very well on the iPad 2 but some people are reporting it's unstable on the ram deprived iPad 1.

I just put my iPad 1 up for sale otherwise I'd stick it on and see how it goes but I want to keep it clean and fresh :)

€3.99 for the next 30 days and then it goes up to 7.99 I think.

Argh! Sat down to play some CDI. All the bloody games are in french. So decide to burn some decent/semi-decent games for it. While I'm waiting I was trying to see if the rest of the games were in french and something must have come loose on the CD unit due to dodgy soldering because the CDI is glitching when I turn it on. Looks like I shouldn't have put away that soldering iron.

Aha! PC Engine chatter, I am studying intently! No mocking the best console of all time yet. You've not discraced yourselves! :D

One thing though, R-Type was never released on Hu Card in complete form. It was released as R-Type I and R-Type II on Hu Card/TG16. It was only released in it's complete form on Super CD as R-Type Complete.

I know I have all three of them so nerr!! :D (I'll stop being a smart git now, sorry!)

You know the awesome shootout scene in Children Of Men, that was shot in Limerick by secret cameras.

    :pac:

Ah so THAT's why it was shot in one take.

They were near the end of the film and couldn't afford a second reel of tape. ;)

Just caught the end of the podcast there (had to head out for a bit). I see Ginger Feckoff Daihatsu Sapphire got a mention! If I'm not mistaken were you talking about my XE-1 Pro HE stick? Thanks for the mention there! :)

Tis a beauty of a stick indeed. Reserved for the top drawer VIP Amex Centurion cardholder lounge only. Usually accompanied by a cheeky belt of Graham's port or a fine scotch of course.

    Dinorex as well.

Ciderman would have an extremely unfair advantage over the rest of us though.

Sure wasn't he best buds with one of the Dinos back in early days (of existance)...

    F**k yeah!
It was said that once the soundtrack is released, one could expect the launch of black mesa two weeks after. I can now say that a new website will be launched with the soundtrack in preparation for the mod. **** if we care about the current website. Just take a good look at it because it will be gone soon enough.

Order something expensive from the UK and pay for the best priority shipping, 1 week later still no sign of anything.

Order something dirt cheap(4 euro) from Japan and pay for the cheapest nastiest shipping possible, arrives 4 days later.

    :confused::confused::confused:

There's a great article on cracked.com about things you never noticed in retro games:

    These two are great:

    Very true.
Not sure about everyone else but our post arrives here between 1 and 5pm when the normal postman is on.
It's a real pain when your waiting for something.
