    Op.

I want to tell you about the most wonderful place in the world: Doggie Heaven. In Doggie Heaven, there are mountains of bones, and you can't turn around without sniffing another dog's butt! And all the best dogs are there, Old Yeller, and about eight Lassies. :)

What amazes me is how so many animals get run over but there doesn't seem to be a corresponding number of humans.

It's odd how most people can avoid hitting people but not a dog.

Nothing to do with the lack of road sense in animals?

I had a similar experience before, but the dog was lying on the road when an articulated truck's wheels went directly over the dog. I happened to be driving in the other direction, and passed by at the exact same time.

The wheels went over one end of the dog causing all the blood & guts to squirt out all over my car. Thankfully I had the windows closed at the time.

Seen it happen to a cat years ago.

Heard a short scream from the cat and i turned around in time to see it go around the wheel about 4 times. What has been seen can never be unseen....:(

As a Pet owner thats Sad

I guess the people who are taking the piss dont have Pets .

If you are taking the Piss and you have an Animal look at it and think of it keeling over and dropping dead now

The way you would feel about it is probably how the owner of that dog will feel when they find out

Poor animal :( at least it was quick from the sounds of it..

I hate seeing any animals dead on the road, with cats, you can sort of convince yourself it was feral or something, but with dogs, you can't help thinking that it was someone's beloved pet :(

    RIP doggy
    He's not dead.. He's just "sleeping" :(

I have seen a dog go under an articulated lorry.

I had seen a dog go under an articulated lorry.

Repeat these lines for a half hour or so and you'll be grand.
