How often do you get a takeaway?

I love a good Chinese, although it's so hard to find in Limerick. Maybe once a week, although I find it quite hard just cooking for one so lately it's been more than once a week!

Only ever get a take away after a night out. It's the second best way to finish a night

A 5in1 is, chips, rice, curry, onions, and 2 chicken balls. €5.50. Pure stodge and Gloop, but nice a few times a year.

We try to limit ourselves to once a month,then its normally a curry.
Occasionally we give into the pressure and pig out on Burgerking.
Omg,the Angus burger,i know its so so bad but its so so good

Actually you lot have put the idea in my head now...there's a Chinese down the road that I might give a lash. Chinese is not really a treat for me though..if there was a Thai takeaway then yeah, every hour on the hour. I need to do this kind of treating myself more often. I don't earn much and I have it in my head I can't afford any kind of treat bar going out at weekends but I'm not THAT broke....live a little Eve_Dublin!

Once a week, on Tuesday nights. Tuesday is when I get paid and I usually treat myself to either a pizza or a Chinese and have it in front of the telly watching Grey's Anatomy.

I used to have a takeaway about 4 times a week, but for new years I decided to get healthy for a change and cut it down to once a week. Usually on a friday night. This friday I think I will get Pizza and garlic bread from a italian restuarant called Sorrentos its beautiful.

Nice. Tuesday is also the worst day of the week!! It's neither here nor there and it's long!

A quarter pounder with cheese and chips/fish and chips once a week and maybe something else if I'm out and about, though I'll be as healthy as I can!

Edit: The 'everyday/3-6 times a week' people really need to cop on.

I can kinda get once a week but it seems like a bit much I always thought takeaways were something you got once in a while, a good slap up take away idk I would just get used to take away food and it would slowly seep into being regular food, yeah so it seems to be the same craic here as in that how much do you spend on food a week thread 2-3 times seems to be mad but quite normal?

Used to be once, sometimes twice a week, but it's usually 2 or 3 times a month now.

Doner kebab, chips and garlic sauce. Lovely stuff.

However, I've got the mother in the house with me at the moment. Once I'm back living alone again, I may have to change my answer to "everyday."

Not too often, but I love eating in restaurants! Would do it every night if I could, try and go about once a week.

I do like to get takeaway food from my favourite places. Usually get a small discount and don't have to get dressed up

I can't eat much fast food - coeliac with lactose intolerance isn't fun

I could get something like a chinese or take away but I will look 7 months pregnant afterwards with a swollen belly and will be sick for a good few hours afterwards.

Sometimes though the pain is worth it, havn't had a take away since last July

At least once or twice a week but I never eat after 6p.m and I walk and do sit-ups every day.
