Floyd Mayweather at his best is better than Muhamaad Ali at his best (P4P). Also more charming when he wants to be.

..well, I suppose that would be unpopular compared to the 'use my penis on her' sort of option...

Hmmm, I'd prefer to tape her mouth over. That is all.

My unpopular opinion is that Dudess is making sense in this thread.

People seem to be getting mistaken about what constitutes an opinion.

"I like darts" or "I hate sex" are not opinions; they are personal preferences.

"Wayne Rooney is the best player in the world" is an opinion.

"People only listen to Opera to be seen as intellectuals" is not a preference or an opinion; it's just an ignorant projection of people's own tastes.

That's not an opinion; it's a fact. As usual.

My unpopular opinion is that I'm not sure if this thread should be renamed popular opinions.

People who are really pedantic about phrasing of thread titles and therefore judge everyone in the thread by how they post get on my tits.

If people have at least a semblance of sense that has anything to do with the thread title I say let them be

i hate the song "Imagine" by john lennon

    there i said it !!!

Thanks so much for saying that.... The song has always annoyed me.

    I don't like soaps operas.
I hate Horatio or Fellatio (whatever his name is) from the CSI's. I hate, without exception, all those shows.
I don't like The Office or Inbetweeners - I find them too painful to watch.

No. "I hate travellers", "I hate de Romanians" - not unpopular opinions. Those are just two examples.
And an opinion is a subjective view that's neither true nor false - as opposed to the unsubstantiated assumptions/paranoid suspicions/lies here. E.g. "People who like Shakespeare are trying to look clever, derp" - no proof, nothing.

I assumed it was irony in that you added a post which was not an unpopular opinion.

How about this for an unpopular opinion (does this qualify?).

It annoys me when people complain about a post/discussion but do not add anything relevant to it.

If you do not like it don't read it or comment on it.
    :)

That Humans are intelligent, self aware beings. I think this is a very debatable considering how unaware we are as a species at how much we waste our potential for greatness.

    Definition of Intelligence:

the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations : reason; also: the skilled use of reason

We understand that our world is in danger from many things that we have the "intelligence" to at least try and prevent:
    • Asteroids - End of the world
    • Global warming - The world has had ice ages in the past, why is are we bodded down in a debate about whether or not its man mad? It will happen again whether its through mans fault or not, what are we doing to prepare?
    • Global Pandemics - We know all about these!
    • Food Shortage Problems - Growing population
    • Diminishing raw materials , including fossil fuels (particularly with increased demand from the emerging markets)
Idiot: a person affected with extreme mental retardation

As a species, vast amounts of resources (including scientists) are spent on war/army projects.

Consumerism has become the number 1 priority of not just peoples lives, but in dictating how countries are run.

Any money in the Pharmacutal division is for profit making drugs, as opposed to curing any specific ailments. If it doesnt have a monetary return, its not worth exploring. See consumerism.

Technology advancements are all about TVs, phones, cars etc . .

Ah, sure you know what I mean . .

I still don't know why you think I was being ironic.
I have contributed a number of times to this thread.
I stand by what I said: several posts here are neither unpopular nor opinions. It's a point of view, which is what this thread is for - I can't help it if it causes such butt-hurt.

aren't you the best boy. Should we all strive to your own level of greatness, copying and pasting from websites on the subject of intelligence to sound more important and self satisfied than the average poster

The big bang, first there was nothing then a big bang and the universe start expanding and still is. I much prefer the inflation theory.

I think most renewable energy available at the moment is a con, isn't effective, and is setting us back in our fight against global warming by erroneously being seen to fix the problem.

In general the content of "like pages" on facebook sickens me. It's amazing how a person's true colours are revealed when they can broadcast something anonymously. The ****e that is posted on those sites daily is either stupid, insulting or both. And they clog up your f'ing newsfeed so theres no getting away from them!
come to think of it, most of facebook's content is utter sh1te.

    rant over.
I'l try come up with a positive opinion and get back to yas

I think people who hold this opinion tend to be too high strung in the sense that they don't see others' true colours because others refuse to show them in their presence knowing how they would react.

    The quote

"If that opinion offends you, you should hear the ones I keep to myself."

    comes to mind.

+1 Right up to the point when they weren't, around 1966.

 Isn't inflation part of the early universe according to the whole big bang theory(minus the sexeh blonde)? For me inflation coming outa nowhere to balance the books of the big bang always troubled me.

I'd agree with this. We're a good way off from actual and practical non fossil fuel replacements. Well except for the nuclear option, but the hippies really don't dig the nuclear.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

I agree with you but what i'm refering to is people posting content with intentions to provoke anger or to upset somebody. Basically I mean trolling

Music on daytime radio is crap.
Most people I know don't seem to think so.
