anyone know if you prestige once, use a token to unlock a weapon like a stinger or something, if you go through the ranks and prestige again , do you have to use another token to get the same weapon or does it stay with you once you unlock it once through each prestige? I'd like an extra custom slot but I cant be without stingers since teammates are useless for taking out air support

no, you just use the one token on it. The stinger will then be with you through every prestige. Once you hit level 4 (create a class) you can pick the stinger again. It's the first thing I unlocked and I have it on every class. It's like having two free kills.

thank christ, yeah I dont get how more people dont use it, if a uav goes up another one or a counter usually goes up a few seconds later, boom, 2 free streak points.

Had my first run in with boosters today, team mate was in a bus on interchange headshotting a guy with a Barrett, got himself a MOAB.
I threw on my modded controller and held down A on the boosting report button.

In MW2 you had the spinning skull and now here you are proudly boasting having a modded controller (against terms and conditions of live btw) ... tbh , sounds like your breaking the rules just as much as these kids.

Yet optic proudly Sponser themselves by evil controllers and people don't mind that so, I don't think of myself an exception that me using it is somehow breaking the rules and when I post here and I'm somehow at fault even though I used it to report people who were cheating. plus I rarely use the damn thing due to it's clunky handles, but if you want to think I use it I won't dispute, I rarely if ever use Semi-Auto's. Hardly boasting to say I reported boosters with it so something gets done.

Optic do not have exactly the best rep with the average player.
Also, does that not count as abuse of the report feature if you kept reporting them?

Why do you have a modded controller if you don't use it?

Cost 15 euro so it's not really a waste.

It doesn't matter what the cost of it was...you still spent 15e on a reporting machine! Though I could see that coming in handy for someone like me who will report anyone who annoys me :o

What's the difference between the modded controller and the standard one, excuse my ignorance ?

The one my friend has has a rapid fire button on it meaning for non auto weapons instead of pulling the ttrigger button repeatedly ya just hold down that button and it fires it abnormally fast, would **** **** up on an mk14 id say.

anyone download the elite app for android? wont leave me sign in even tho the password username is all correct, im just a basic member also, assume theres a problem with the app?

Personally speaking I dont follow people who upload vids for a living based on my own personal opinions of those folks so I cant quote on "optic" myself. TBH I highly doubt anyone buys a modded controller thinking it will only be used to report players then hop back on their regular controller, lets not insult peoples intelligence here?

(For those wondering why one would use a modded controller , some offer a raid fire option so you can use a high power single shot gun like a fal or the likes as a machine gun simply by holding down the fire button. They are made with such high power as they are meant to be balanced out by being single shot. Im sure we have all come across it where someone is using a fal at impossible rate of fire and it is against MS t&c for Live under section 14 part 3 Service Operation and Equipment)

While what you were doing was admirable , having both the spinning skull in mw2 and modded controllers in your possession screams only one logical image for most. :)

ha, theres an app for android with every gun in MW3, you press the screen and it plays the sound of it unloading a clip, people must have wondered why the sound of a SPAS was coming from my desk earlier in work :pac:

Do you just prowl the posts looking for someone to pounce on? Really and truly, you can have a gun in your house, doesn't mean you use it. I have a modded controller yes along with a basic Xbox controller, I don't use it, why? the thing is clunky, uncomfortable and when used with Automatic weapons it makes them fire slower, I have gold guns in MW3 all of them automatic, I never use pistols or the MK14 because It got boring for me.
And for the spinning skull coin? Who gives a flipping Shite about it, it's not like it comes with God mode or something.
So far your case is based on assumption and you for some reason feel obligated to pursue this with me for some strange reason or another.

Yeah but spinning skull's on MW2 were gained by implementing a hack to get it, which is cheating in my eyes! Also admitting to using a modded controller on this game, weather you never use it or only when you run into moab cheaters it still throw's up a doubt on your gameplay and level's you reach.

"you can have a gun in your house, doesn't mean you use it"
 why would someone buy a gun and not use it? Same as why buy a mod controller and not use it??

I'm jus gonna head the shop and buy a nice chicken and stuffing sambo, brown bread, bit of mayo.... not gonna eat it, jus gonna look at it...

Cause guns are badass. I'd fecking love to have a gun, not to shoot it though. Just so I could do 360s off my dad's broken ladder and dropshot onto onto the patio. You know, like what all the real soldiers do :)

Modded controllers don't even help on this game, theres recoil on the semi auto guns so you have to time it correctly..

It gives an indication to the level and character of player you are. If you have a modded controller you didn't buy it to look at it. He pursues it, because I surmise like me he has a deep seeded hatred of cheaters . . . . a hatred of cheaters is something hightower and I share? Why did you buy it in the first place hmmmmmm? A gun in the house can have a purpose, did you buy the modded controller to throw at a burglar?

Ah the days of owning a modded controller for the N64 and SNES because I couldn't afford the official ones for the most part (had 3 official N64 pads). Fecking awkward to use as AGB said. Damn Nintey.

    Anyway MW3, wrrrroar!
