We met nearly 15 years ago in an Irish Pub in my home town Leipzig in Germany. My English was so la-la and his German minimalistic!!! Talked with hand and feet until the early morning hours. One week later I confronted him with my 2 Teenagers (Son than 13 and daughter than 11 years old). Still not put off, he called and waited patiently for me. So I gave him a chance. We did live in Germany for 6 years together. But he was so homesick! We decided to move to Ireland. Bought a side here and started to build our dream home in 2001. I was still in Germany and we could only talk over the phone. A very long year passed and at the end of 2002, I packed all my stuff up and moved with my daughter to Ireland. Son was studying in Germany and followed 5 years later. We are still together. Now it is only the two of us, after the kids left the nest. Going through a lot of financial trouble at the moment, but this makes us only stronger. Awaiting our first grandchild in 2 weeks time. Can`t wait!
I would like to propose to my love! Love him from the bottom of my heart!

Hubby and I met outside a night club and instantly clicked due to our mutual love of a certain singer. Honeymooned in Westport (married in August 2011) and would relish the chance to return for our 1st anniversary :)

We first met at tag rugby, so brief introductions and handshakes. I saw her, but im not so sure she saw me - although she claims to the contrary.

We remained friends for a year and a half before we started to text, talk and meet up outside of tag rugby.

I treat our first date as the first time we met each other romantically. It was a simple meal over burgers and fries, but we stayed talking to each other for a good 5 hours until we were told to leave as the restaurant was closing.

I was due to move to London 3 weeks later, but there was a bond there and we couldnt stop talking to each other, so stayed with each other from that date, through my year in London even until today, where we are planning on moving in together.

met on the first day of college on the library tour, were best friends first, then things got strange when we tried to get each other drunk so we could kiss each other. Finally had to admit to each other that we liked each other as more then friends. it took a while but finally came out to family and friends and haven't looked back since!!

We met in a chat room online nearly 7 years ago, had a bit of a fling but nothing serious(being young and scared and silly), kept an eye on each other over the years but never met up, decided to meet up last valentines day and realised we were still mad about each other and we officially got together and plan on staying together!:):o

I met the man of my dreams at a music festival! I was walking through the crowds on my own when I heard someone shout my name, it was a friend of my sisters and when I went over to say hello he was with her group and I instantly fancied him! We kissed that night and haven't looked back since, it's love :)

She walked into my old work to fix her phone (that she didn't even buy there). I had to do up a fake receipt from our store just so I could send the phone for repair and keep talking.

She said I was being very nice, I said it was because I wanted her number, she gave it to me and told me to give her a call. I did and here we are 7 years later.

Both being young and very foolish, we met online with Bebo through a mutual friend at 17 and 18 years of age. We've been through thick and thin together in the five years since - moved in together, fought like cat and dog, laughed together, getting in practice with looking after his crazy nieces and nephew, and cried together, when he was with me every step of the way when I lost my father last March.
He annoys the hell out of me, sometimes I can't imagine the rest of my life with him (and like to think I'm not that crazy!) but never have I been able to imagine the rest of my life without him.
