I was reading today that Kodak have filed for bankruptcy. I was very surprised as it's a giant of a company that even managed to coin a phrase, "a Kodak moment"

    It got me thinking about what other brands are no longer with us;

The Our Price chain of record stores.
AIWA. Once a very popular Hi-Fi and Walkman clone maker.
    and Radion Washing Powder! :D

    Any others?

    Vanilla Coke
    Coca Cola with lime
Last time I saw either of them was about six years ago :(

In mid nineties Chicago Bulls were the biggest sports brand around, bigger then Man Utd, NY Yankees and San Francisco forty niners.
Loads of Irish people with Bulls caps, have seen one this decade or the decade before.

LA Gear runners. Because they were ****e, extremely expensive and fell apart within weeks

Can you still buy Doc Martins?

    Siemens mobile phones

I was a loyal customer and owned quite a few

Oh most everyone else had their Nokia 3310 but I was very happy with my Siemens

Google tells me this division went bust in 2006. They are missed :(

Nor in the UK, because of a lousy reputation.

Tiffin bars are still in my local corner shop. And I'm fairly sure they're not left over from 1984 stock...

    Kodak
They just filed for bankruptcy. They fell a long way from the biggest camera and film manufacturers in the world to bankrupt.
