Put them on the heater before you wear them (it's cold these mornings anyways), put them on, they iron themselves on you... Problem solved. I haven't ironed in about a year, and I'm a woman
me neither, not one thing in a year.

getting married for ironed clothes may not be always work... most of the women that work here wear creased clothes.... also getting married can be detrimental to your sex life.

I don't iron anything my dresses or skirts don't crease, my folded t shirts don't either, what else cardigans, tights yeah nothing I wear needs ironing.

I could understand shirts and certain materials needed it, but sure just do it while watching the telly.

I would love to have someone to iron my sheets, that would be nice but not worth my time.

I've been ironing my clothes for so long now that it would be strange not to .

I can't remember the last time I ironed something. Even things that need to be ironed I can't bothered. Sure the creases sort themselves out.

My house-mate on the other hand irons everything- including her bedclothes.

I never iron, tried it once and disaster, especially sleeves. You iron one side of the sleeve it just irons in a crease on the other, turn over and you end up with a crease or line on the side you just ironed. Dry cleaners ftw, money well spent :)

I haven't ironed anything in years, because I take **** out of the washing machine/dryer as soon as they're done, hey presto no creases, or at least none that would concern me.

oh la di da with your dryer!!!

I've never owned an iron in my life. I just hang clothes in bathroom and switch the shower on full blast to iron my clothes.

So yeah I guess steam is my butler. He's shit at hoovering though.

For those new to the ironing scene ,remember to turn your pants ,jeans ,trousers inside out for less crease and no shine .

So many people don't know this.

And if you fall into that category, and you only remember one thing today, than make it be this nugget of wisdom. Avoid looking like an amateur for the rest of your life.

the Ironing Scene. I can picture it now, a big warehouse that opens between 9 am - 5 pm were all the hardcore ironmongers go and get down to Joe Duffy and P Diddy kenny on the FM while giving it loads on the ironing board.

Gonna do a job, do it properly baby!

And shiny jeans t-shirts are not a good look.

Forgot for a moment there that no one in their right mind irons jeans. Only French people.

I have always hated ironing, despise it. This year I actually invested in one of these bad boys (€150) and now I just steam everything on their hangers as and when needed. I actually enjoy it :)

As long as you don't put a line down the middle of the jeans which from memory ' was ' what a lot of young Irish people use to do (it does look pretty stupid ,especialy with black shoes )

Turn them inside out, so that is what my butler was doing wrong, well I just happen to like shiny jeans :(

I au-paired for this French family back in my youth and Madame used to make me iron creases into all their jeans like that. Even the kids'. I also had to iron the towels and the tea towels, and their knickers. No respect for the time I could have otherwise spent sitting on the couch. And afterwards, obviously, they all looked like tw&ts.

Also led to the pathological hatred of ironing I have that persists to this day.

.I'm not meticulous by any means ,if I'm only lounging about or popping down to local shops then I'm not to bothered what's hanging off me but going into the city to work , shop or social occasion then I make the effort to look like 'I've made an effort ' .

Dallas was the cause of that.

The phenomena came into fashion in Europe around the same time girls were swooning for that cad Bobby Ewing and low and behold, he just happened to be always swaning around with strides on him not too disimilar to these fecking eyesores.

Naaa. The cause was getting the mammies to do your ironing. They could not conceive of the idea that trousers/jeans did not have a crease. This was also the reason jeans had patches sown all over them rather then holes at the knees and arse. Mammies wouldn't let you leave the house with holes in your trousers.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I find that hard to believe as most travel agents etc are always meticulously turned out.

    PICS FTW......
