Deli lady cuts the roll down the top and not the side

You guys wont believe this...

The deli lady in the shop next to my work cant cut a roll properly to save her life,as any normal person would the cut the roll down the side so that it folds over in a 180 degrees fashion and put your food in that way,this lady cuts it done the top of the roll so it opens partially in a v shape and cant fit nearly as much food in thus leaving a lot of my chicken which i am paying for(full price by the way) on the counter,i have stated it to her many times but she doesn't register it...WTF!!!!:eek:

How would you guys handle this?

i'd say sorry this is not prepared to my satisfaction... can another staff member please prepare my roll for me.

Highlight the fact she is **** at her job but in a polite and calm manner.

I'm failing to see a problem. If the roll is cut from top down it still opens exactly the same way as if it was cut down the side?

Still if it's a major issue you might want to recreate that scene from Ghost, except the pottery wheel will be the roll and you'll be lovingly guiding her hairy deli hands along it in a perfect cut.

thats awful... you should just switch to a wrap. Or else you could make a point and ask for loads of bulky crap like chicken coleslaw cheese tomato onion etc and see how she fits it in. When she says it wont fit just go 'cut it down the side, its what I always get' and then maybe she'll learn.

She is polish girl fyi and iv seen other people see her do it and give the exact same reaction of complete shock and horror at what she is doing..most are so stunned at what she has done they don't even call her up on it

Although i got a roll before and the letuce was covered in green flys!! Nearly puked on the spot!

Glove goes to mouth, spit goes to glove, glove handles food that is placed into your bap, roll etc. They are right sneaky, watch for it.

Rolls are in fact oval, she's cutting it at the narrowest part of the rolls diameter which is giving less bread real estate for disgusting deli muck to be inserted into said roll.
