lol, i really don't think prestege/token hacking is in the same league as clitching under the map. People actually getting angry because someone has a shinier badge than them that they didn't earn... lols.

its not in the same league but people that do it generally will do any other glitch that comes out. From my experience its normally only kids that do it cause they lack the patience or intelligence to realize that they're actually destroying part of the game for themselves.For alot of people the game looses the same appeal after 10th prestige, thats why the prestige system is in place as it acts on the basics of behavioural psychology to create sense of reward and encourages repeat gaming.

it's worse as it takes away from the hours of gameplay genuine players put in to earn their "shiny badges" as you put it same thing happened on MW2 with hacked prestige 10's appearing within 2 to 3 weeks of its release and nothing happened to them! It's a bit of a crap attitude you have towards those who employ hacking to ruin the enjoyment of other players!

I don't care about a shiny emblem beside my name all I want are more classes so that I can have every combination I need for tournaments, which are played in private matches, which do not affect other people. This should not annoy you.

loads of classes for competitive gaming?, i was under the impression that most gamebattles and mlg players use only 1 to 2 classes as they normally pick the most powerful gun in the game and have a standard load out of perks with maybe a few exceptions if you were playing CTF you would need marathon or something, other than that they ALL use ninja or dead silence, Quickdraw and sleight of hand.

In an ideal world I could have:
ACR red dot - mara
ACR red dot - SoH
ACR - Silenced - SoH
UMP - mar
MP7 - mar
MP7- Soh
PP90 - Soh
Silenced smg - mara

+ 2 for whatever

on mw2 I used to have:
UMP mara/light/ninja silenced
UMP mara/stop/ninja silenced
UMP mara/stop/ninja FMJ
MP5 mara/light/nina FMJ
ACR mara/stop/ninja red dot
ACR Soh/Stop/ninja red dot
FAMAS mara/stop/ninja red dot
FAMAS Soh/stop/ninja red dot

from what i have seen in mw3 and competitive gaming( gamebattles,MLG) its the ACR if your playing defensive and the MP7 if your being aggressive and thats it, both setups have the same perk loud out if its either CTF or SnD, so from what i can see you realistically only need 2 classes not the 9 or 10 you listed above

I don't condone it... I just don't see why some people on here are upset by people who do it.. how exactly does it ruin the enjoyment for other players tho?

Personally i couldn't give a rats ass about the emblems or extra classes... the whole cod prestege system is a joke anyway. A lot of people play the game to rank up and not because they enjoy it. Grinding through levels for a few cosmetic upgrades is just a poor and lame design choice used to somewhat mask what would otherwise be quite a boring game after the initial months of release. Its kinda like leveling up a new character on an MMO that you've already reached max level before... the only difference is there is no endgame and thus no sane reason to do it if not just to extend the games lifespan because you'd be bored off your tits otherwise.

Your missing the whole point of COD for a lot of players then! Why do you have people trying to cheat to the final prestige? Because they don't won't to put in the hours of playing time to go up through the prestiges. I think it's clever game design as it does keep players interested and also completing challanges etc is another good design choice. I don't criticize players who reach level 80 and refuse to prestige, that's their choice, but if players want to go the prestige route they shouldn't have to worry about cheaters using hacks to gain the top prestige positions in the game.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you see boosting, glitching or any signs of tampering, use the report function!!! If you see someone with 10th presticge who gets a poor score, check their hours played. They are taking action against cheaters!

It'll take a while, but everyone that does this will make the game much better to play as all the cheats will have been removed from the game.

I said it was ridiculous to be console banned for, which was one post. Then the argument went on to whether or not there is something wrong with token glitching and its equivalents.

This, in addition to your other posts and your reaction to my posts made me think you had. In addition, you have admitted prestige hacking on MW2.

If you haven't hacked MW3, I do apologise. As I said earlier, my post was not aimed at you. I think that's pretty clear to everyone.
