If possible ensure that both players are using WIRED connections.

Where one player is using a wireless connection it can often be impossible to connect a Madden game for some unknown reason !

I tried that as well, plugged in the network cable and restarted modem/router/xbox the whole shebang when it wouldn't connect wirelessly .

No, you'll have the fantasy draft team.
You have Dallas Clark anyway so thats a positive!

The team view doesnt seem to be working at the moment.
The Pats are 5-8 currently but in a division with 2 excellent human players.

Jaysus good be allsorts of players left on the teams!

I'm off for a week next week so Ill hit Raoul up with a pm when I'm back and join the league then. He's already given me the list of teams avail so I guess I'm down to 3 choices(not the Pats) based on only having 1 Player teams in the Division and 1 after the playoffs due to a Player not playing his games. Ill tell him who I pick when I get in on the game.

McG, looks like i'll be around this evening after all from about 9:45, does that suit?

No luck hearing back from madalig12 (Rams), sent couple messages since Monday to organise our game.

Hoping to get it done before weekend as have a busy one.

Ask Santry to kick him from the league temporarily when you want to play your game. It looks like you have made suitable attempts to contact him.

This is the reason i would prefer everyone to use the discussion section on the league manager site as then if a player has been trying to organise a game with no luck then it can be clearly seen on the LM site.

that should work for me but I wouldn't want the game to start much later than that.

I think that is possible, there is a way to save and upload the highlights

I think the franchise should do it for the Superbowl this year

Though I've never done it but someone here did when this Madden got released and they were posting up videos and asking questions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,514 ✭✭✭BigBadRob83

Thanks Santry & Raoul, sorry just put the post up in this forum in the hopes that he'd see it. If don't hear back by tonight will let Santry know.
Would much prefer the human game if possible.

Looking forward to result of Titans @ Colts!

Would be great tbh especially for the super bowl but even for important games affecting your own team

you can do it but it's a bit of a pain and the highlights only seem to last until the gameweek is advanced.

I think I did it last time because I was meant to be up against a human player who couldn't play. Thought I'd let him see how the game went in his absence.

We can put the superbowl on youtube, it'll last forever :)

Maybe next season this is something people will start getting into more

Good use of your work resources :pac:.

I don't know if I would like to watch a game that someone is playing where I need them to win. I get annoyed at myself enough when I make mistakes so could just envisage me having a mortal enemy of someone on here after they miss a field goal that would have sent me into the playoffs. I'm angry just thinking about how angry I would be.:pac:

Just finished a fun game vs the bengals. I've noticed that although i'm not very good at this game I seem to have an extra-ordinary amount of bad luck...not withstanding the two injuries to one good defender and probably my best remaining WR...I fumble the opening catch when tackled....my running back fumbles twice in his own half and is transfer listed now. If anyone wants mendenhall he's goin for two jaffa cakes and a packet of Bikers. I'm delighted to have scored a touchdown even though it was the defence who scored, which was most likely due to the fact that they spent over 80% of the time on the field. I'm likely to improve a bit if I can get someone without butter-for-hands to run with the ball. If my luck can turn I think I could get over 16 points sometime in the future. But a good game it was for two quarters. Look forward to playing bigbadrob again sometime.

    Bengals @ Rams

Unfortunately for the Rams, this game started as it was to continue; Bengals kickoff and the Rams returner fumbles on his first hit. Bengals can't capitalise after a tough goal line stand and settle for FG.
    CIN 3-0

Rams drive the field picking apart the zone defense, Vick to Avant working a treat, but can't get into the end zone, FG; 3-3

Bengals start next drive deep in own territory and on 2nd down Hernandez finds a hole in the coverage and then beats last defender for a 73yd TD reception; CIN 10-3

Back and forth with some punts, and Bengals close the half with a 52yd FG as time expires; CIN 13-3

Bengals stutter on first drive of the half, but punt nicely to the 6yd line. On Rams first offensive snap, Mendenhall fumbles and Bengals recover. Bengals get sacked to face 3rd & 16, and on this crucial play Ringer catches a screen pass to pick up the first down, then Turner runs it in from 1yd. CIN 20-3

Next possession, first play; Mendenhall fumbles again!
Cincy recovers as Rams owner is "displeased". Cutler finds Ringer for a 36yd TD. CIN 27-3

Poor return on next kickoff for Rams, 3rd down Vick scrambles around trying to make something happen, and SAFETY! CIN 29-3

Bengals cant take advantage as Cutler throws a pick-6 on ensuing possession. CIN 29-10

Pick-6 the other way from Vick; CIN 36-10

Then as the fourth quarter winds down, Bengals running out time score FG, Rams get a consolation TD on end one jump ball, fail with 2 point conversion and Cincy scores last to end it.

    Bengals 46-16 Rams
Bengals have clinched the AFC North!

Turnovers killed the Rams, Cutler continues his INT ways. Although on one redzone interception he somewhat redeemed himself by "tackling" Clay Matthews after he intercepted him, and by tackling I mean he actually fell over and Matthews tripped over him. Bengals contained Vick in the pocket as defense stepped up again.
Rams D-Line played well getting 6 sacks and numerous pressures.

Analysis on AFC playoff picture coming when week is advanced.

Brutal for the 2nd game in a row. Shut out by the Titans. Combined total of 3 points scored in last 2 games

Not sure what's happened my madden ability but at this rate I might not make the playoffs and if I do I'll be easy pickings for someone.

'Displeased' I'm not convinced that that sums up my exact feelings but it did make me laugh when I read it. Good unbiased summing up.

I did say to helimachoptor during the game that you might think I was doing him a favour when you saw the stats... I only wish it was me throwing the game!

Titans @ Colts and the Colts receive the Colts are forced to punt and so are the Titans. The Colts fumble and the Titans recover, on the first play Bush makes a great run and the Titans then go to the air but end up with a FG after some excellent defense by the Colts

Both teams trade punts for a while

The Titans make good progress up the field and and throw a 26 yard pass to Bush for a TD

10-0 Titans with less than a minute in the half.

The Colts go through the air and it bounces off a few helmets and a Titan D-man catches it!

The Titans get Bush in for a 16 yard TD
    17-0 Titans at the half

The Titans cant do much and end punting.

The Colts cant do much either and almost throw a couple of ints before Rivers gets sacked and then gets intercepted on his next play.

Again the Titans struggle and end up with Orton getting sacked... The Colts air it out and get intercepted again.

The Titans get sacked again and on 3rd and 24 Orton hits Camarillo and he get in for a 59 yard TD.
24-0 with 8 in the game

The Colts fumble but manage to recover and then make some good progress
but ultimately go for it on 4th and dont make it

The Titans go for a 50 yard FG and dont make it
    4:15 on the clock

The Colts go for it on 4th Tamba Hali makes a one handed monster leap and then makes it up to the Colts 14 yard line

The Titans try to get another TD but get intercepted around the 5 yard line

The Colts go deep and get intercepted with 1:16 on the clock, the Colts use their TOs and the Titans try a pass when the Colts line up to blitz Jared Cook gets stopped at the 1 yard line and the Titans let the clock run out.

    Some Stats
Titans offense 278 with 231 of that in the air to 112 offense of the Colts.

The Colts turned it over 6 times, 5 interceptions and 1 fumble, the Titans with 1 interception.

Orton has a massive QB rating of 109.5 with 16 from 28, 262 yards and 3 TDs
Rivers has a rating of 5.8.
Bush made honest progress with 43 yards on the ground.

Jared Cook gets 9 receptions for 137 yards

Will Allen gets 2 ints, Hali, Goodman, Wilson all get an interception each. Patrick Willis is the cause of the 2 Colts fumbles.

    Good chatting McG as always.

The race for the final wildcard gets interesting.
The Titans are now a game ahead of the Ravens, so the Titans with the Jags and Texans to play have it in their own hands.
However with the Colts recent loss of form if they lose one of their next 2 games against the division rivals and the Titans with both then the Titans take the division title (i think - someone may need to check my tiebreaking!)

Ye next week there will be an NFC Preview for the run in. Plus some interesting stat's :) I was going to do it this week, but theres far to many teams still left in the hunt for the wild card's in the NFC.

God the titans are on a run ! The Ravens loss against the Chargers is massive now.

Looking forward to the preview of the AFC Rob !

    The way I see it:

If Titans and Ravens win next two and Colts lose next two then Titans take the division and Ravens have the tiebreaker over the Colts to take the sixth seed

It's true the Ravens are a game behind and it's not in their hands anymore.
But one saving grace is they beat the Texans, Colts and Ravens so tie breakers are on their side

This is all from the top of my head, I'm waiting for BigBadRobs AFC breakdown next week :)

well if I do end up losing those last 2 that'll be 4 in a row so I won't have any complaints about missing the playoffs. I'm going to need to start playing Madden more than just the one online franchise game a week
