Visitors stealing from your house

Is it common for visitors to steal when they are in your house or is the guy that robbed an LED bulb from the bathroom in my place recently just a bit mad? 4 visitors and only 1 went upstairs, switched on the light next night and the bulb was missing. No other possible explanation, this guy took it!

The guy that took it would be pretty well respected and intelligent and not the type you would expect to do something like this.
For the past few weeks i have been buying expensive phillips LED's whenever i can afford them and the last one i bought was put into the spare bathroom only that day, Im having to remind myself of that part because it seems so odd for someone to steal somthing like this and you question yourself.

Is this common?

Once I was in my friends house and I noticed her roomates had the lord of the rings extended as did I but my first disk was scratched so i stole their one. They where assholes and treated my friend like **** so I felt justified.

Just keep your head down, do your time and when you've paid your debt to society you won't have to worry about your "visitors" nicking stuff from your cell house anymore.

Stick any new lightbulbs up your arse before fitting them...you can bask in knowledge of what you did, next time anyone robs them.

That was mean. If they treated your friend like **** why were they friends with them?
I would not take anything from anyone's home and would not be happy if it happened to me.

Ah, it common enough all right.
I've had a TV, a set of knives and a bottle opener stolen by visitors since the turn of the year alone.
The key really is to make sure you do the same when visiting. Things usually even themselves up and if you are good you will end up with better stuff than that which you had originally.

Lightbulbs are one of the most commonly stolen items from hotels... did they nick shampoo too?

and in my experience- nor is people stealing lightbulbs or things from your house unless there is a house party which can sometimes result in **** going missing if friends of friends of friends turn up

2 video games went missing from my house over Christmas when we had a couple of parties. I have my suspicions on who's responsible but can't prove anything, It's extremely FCUKING annoying to be honest.

A ex buddy of mine used to nick my Mach 3 blades every time he came round. I got fed up of it so got my hands in 2 strips of the fake ones you get at the boot sales and left them out and invited him round for a session and yes he took the bait.. Poor f uc ker wasn't long about being found out!! Tore the face off himself with them

them blades could be used as torture implements they're that bad !!!!

As regards light bulbs, a lad who I used to work with would take, milk, sugar, big roll, biscuits, newspaper, bulbs and washing up liquid on a regular basis. The lad was a bachelor and as mean as ****.

There's a joke about brightness in there somewhere, but I'll just ask how on earth you lit a room (even a small one) with one LED?

If this LED is bright enough to light a bathroom, I'd like to know where you get them.

In the 80's I had a problem with a so called mate swiping lawnmore petrol from a can in the front garden. One weekend he took a gallon that I just bought and dissapeared before I got to the gate. I heard the sound of an Yamaha RD LC 350 so I knew it was him.

A few weeks later I was expecting him back so I left a mixture of petrol and sugar in the same can. It also dissapeared and a few days I saw the top end of his bike and carbs stripped down at a Yamaha dealer. LOL.

Mad that light bulbs is a common robbery, they are a bit pricey to buy alright. I had a few friends of friends rob stuff from my friends at a house party before. I usually lock my bedroom if i have a party and put anything valuable in it. I had put my friends bag and camera in my room that night because i had a weird feeling before the party. Anyhow, wallets, IDs and another camera went missing that night. We knew who it was but it was too late after we cuaght them.
