    Alex - love that name!

Strangest one Ive heard this year was a girl in work calling her newborn "Maksimilian"

But Im really sick of Jack and Eva/Ava - not original Im afraid.

If I ever have a boy I want to call him "Ned"

And "Isabela" if I had a girl.

    Alexa
    Lily (too common :()

    Daniel
    Alexander
    Matthew
    Dylan

I already have my childrens names chosen (sorry potential future wifey). They are Florence, Dinny, Rory, Emmett and Renard. I don't particularly care whether they're boys or girls

I've been feeling very broody lately :/

i have a male budgie called Dinny. ( and a girl budgie called Teasie) :D

What is up with parents' choices for girls names??

I was just looking at the list of most popular girls names in the UK and they're all pretty but silly, they're names that sound grand on a little girl but not on an adult woman. For example: Maisie, Milly, Poppy, Millie, and Lola.

Why, parents why? You're daughter is not going to be flouncing around in a pink fairy costume forever!

Ah crap. I forgot about Teasie.

    They'll have to be twins.

Does anyone even know how "Teasie" got her name?

    I shudder to think...
