It then says more evidence is required than is normal because its a serious charge.

Commoli and Evra don't seem up on Spanish as they like to think!

what about kuyt and his dutch?

again, if the fa rule book states that players can be found guilty on the balance of probability then there's not one jot liverpool can do about it

I hope we see them in a real court, not this kangaroo affair, where a man's reputation can be destroyed on balance of probabilities just because it suits the present FA agenda against Blatter. Suarez was from day one going to be used as a scapegoat by the FA, i for one hope the club bring this to the highest court possible.

I wouldn't say Suarez is the most fluent speaker.

its arguable whether or not it will be able to go to a court, or whether any legal court rulings could actually affect the outcome of the fa case. bottom line is liverpool are members of the fa, and accept the fa rule book as part of that membership

it may be the case that the CAS is the highest court it can go to, and even that's not actually legal

I've persoanlly explained this twice. Due to the nature of the accusation, the FA explain in the report that they would seek much higher burdens of proof than the generally accpeted 'more likely than not' equivalent of a civil court.

They themselves in the report state that.

    Hardly, considering he's not Dutch.

yeah, they do state it in the report, and by stating it they obviously feel that it meets their requirements. they don't say, however, that those requirements need to be in line with the courts of the land, hence the "more likely than not"

they don't need to prove it conclusively, they just need to prove it so that they're fairly sure they're right

i was more referring to the fact that both comolli AND kuyt both misunderstood him in the exact same way... one in his native language, one in the language of a country he was living in for 4 year

incredible coincidence they'd both misunderstand him identically in two different languages at two different times

    No they don't.

They state there's a higher burden of evidence, not proof.

If you were the subject of a civil case that reached a damaging conclusion on such a basis I doubt you'd be too happy.

if i was dumb enough to do what suarez did, and dumb enough to handle it like liverpool did, id probably be dumb enough not to realise that the laws of the game are subscribed to by liverpool in their membership of the association

He can speak dutch though. That's how himself and Kuyt communicate.

Someone who can't be bothered to read the report but wants to give their opinion on it.

Explain how that works and why exactly you would like to be taken seriously.

I've read the main parts of the report which have been quoted on here and the things Suarez has said. 8 matches isn't enough.

Fair enough. You won't mind if your opinion is dismissed as irrelevant so

That's a lolification if I ever saw one. Take your liverpool hat off for once and read i unbiased. Suarez got off lightly.

No I haven't read it, I can't be bothered reading through pages of irrelevant crap.

And to the people who say "No Evidence, No Proof" Or whatever ye'r saying.

So saying that if someone broke into someones house, they're innocent because there was no evidence?

Can we all agree to stop engaging with this guy?

Just because ye'r upset poor Luis got banned unfairly because he didn't make a racist remark...which he did.

one things for sure, he'll be banned for 8 games and no less. It won't be reduced. 8 games isn't enough. No room in soccer for racism.

So nobody heard the exchange, even the United goalie.

What's more, the referee never even heard the second exchange where Evra told him "he just called me black".

Bizarre if that's what the conviction is based on.

Why does he get a special mention? Do Spanish people have super sensitive hearing or something?

He was right beside them. In fairness, there's no way he would have heard anything

most likely because there was nothing to hear...

Suarez admitted using the word Negro.

That proves absolutely nothing. Suarez admitted not hearing Evra say "Concha de tu hermana" and he was only a few yards away from him.

That's what i'm saying. I wouldn't have expected de Gea to have heard anything!

Sorry, and apologies if i have taken you up wrong, but i reckoned from your comment about De Gea not hearing anything, that you implied it to mean that nothing was said between Suarez and Evra prior to corner simply because he was in proximity to the event and should have heard the conversation.

Again, if i have taken you up wrong, apologies my friend.
