Kuyt says he said it. Referee said he's not sure what he said. Evra said he didn't say it.

All over that report it's a case of accepting Evra's arguments and dismissing Suarez's and Kuyt's. It stinks.

Evra's account is more coherent and consistent, it's as simple as that unfortunately. Suarez's account and when the incident actually occured doesn't even match up with the video evidence, FFS like.

So it turns out all the bull**** info about Evra saying he was only being booked because he was black is complete bull**** that could have only been leaked by Liverpool

Eh, no. Kuyt heard him say it.

Jaysus, people should actually read the fcking report before talking nonsense.

He was already labelled as that well before the Suarez incident occurred.

When is the report published? Have I missed it?

It was nice of you to make that unfounded allegation about Evra and then lock the thread.

Skimmed through the 100 odd pages and it seems like one side of the argument and no actual proof - maybe that will come in the next 100 pages.....hopefully.

Jason Roberts on 606 is close to calling Saurez a racist.

Aye, genius thats what I said. Bother reading the report and the referee who was talking to Evra and Evra said it wasnt true, yet Liverpool leaked it out anyway.

Case closed. FA: Credit where it's due.

Yes, where both Evra and the referee deny it.

Its pretty safe to say that Kuyt heard it wrong

My post was in reference to pointing out where the information originated is a little different from your absurd ranting about how the information had popped up out of thin air.

This is what I meant in the other thread when I said that Suarez talked himself into a guilty verdict. There's no compelling evidence against him but the problem is that Suarez's accounts of what happened illicited too many inconsistencies.

I didn't think he was all through this but if what's in that report is true he most definitely is.

But it says Suarez doesn't have to prove his innocence, its up to the FA to charge based on the balance of probabilities. Very strange, not to have to prove anything yet be called unreliable!

Not necessarily, but that's a whole new argument.

I will say this though, if it's true, i'm not sure either way, but if it is, the 8 match ban that i originally thought harsh is justified.

Are you serious? How long did you wait to post that? I never suggested that anything that he was called was untrue or true. I quite simply stated that this is something that he was labelled as previously. Perhaps you are a bit touchy today, I can understand that but no need to take it out on anybody else. Now if there is anything else then please feel free to PM me, otherwise feel free to continue posting if it is on topic.

The bolded bit goes for everyone else too.

evra's evidence was found to be more consistent, in line with available evidence and reliable than suarez's, which kept changing as the case progressed

    How utterly pathetic is this.

This report is utterly conclusive that Suarez is guilty

The only shambles here is the behaviour of Liverpool fans

This report by the FA could have rammifications for the players Liverpool future. The club has it's reputation round the world to think about. They put their neck on the line for the player.

Will Liverpool now sack Suarez? They may have to if their sponsors have their way.

BBC: "Suarez was found guilty on the "balance of probability" - a lower standard than the criminal standard of "beyond all reasonable doubt"

Some LFC fans are reacting to this calmly and reasonably so maybe you and a few others should take it easy with the generalisations.

in line with their rules, rules that liverpool fc accept by their membership of the association

So I guess every civil case ever is a shambles as well

Why isn't Suarez charged like John Terry? Is it only because no one complained to the cops as was the case with JT?

Yep, that's the reason. You'd need proof to charge Suarez, tbh and that's something the FA don't have.

The balance of probabilities is in no logical way utterly conclusive, except to biased observers!
