Why is there many people who seem to be against interracial/interfaith relationships?

I just notice it many times that it's not welcomed. What difference does it make if both people are happy together all the best to them.
I heard stories from the past, when a catholic was marrying a protestant or vice versa, there were tensions and people trying to stop them. I think that was only because of the history between Ireland and England. Catholic and prodestant getting married is hardly an interfaith marriage, their both christian.

In order to put an end to these pointless semantic games which do nothing but distract from the topic, I will stop using the term "white" and replace it with a more descriptive term, "non-Jewish people of wholly European descent" Therefore, I am a NonJewishPersonOfWhollyEuropeanDescent, or NJPOWED.

My original argument about all the NJPOWED who love Foreign Women is that they are a NJPOWED and the only reason they are a NJPOWED is because their parents were both NJPOWED, so they are now attracted to a woman who only exists because of non-NJPOWED men and women. These Foreign Women women are attracted to NJPOWEDs simply because they are NJPOWEDs, so they are each attracted to someone who could never have existed within their own race. In other words, the NJPOWED men are dependent on Filipina men and women to produce the Filipina women they so desire, and the Foreign Women women for their part are dependent on the NJPOWED men and women to produce the NJPOWED men they so desire. The child of an NJPOWED and a Foreign Women is neither an NJPOWED nor a Foreigner and the traits which attracted the child's parents to each other no longer exist. What a way to be cruel to your future son and condemn him to a life without sex or a racial identity.

And before you cry racism, just remember that the only reason these Foreign Women are attracted to you in the first place is because you're an NJPOWED. It's easy to cry racism when you're in a privileged position.

Well if I was going out with a muslim man/deciding to get married to a muslim man. My parents would'nt exactly be happy I understand because women don't seem to be fairly, equally etc. Not saying that is the same in all cases though.

Reality tends to strike home after some months about a lot of things .Getting married because they love each others company needs time testing under the same roof . If they have similar backgrounds that's a better start . That makes for good sense which is anathema to popular sentiment today which prefers novel ways of doing things and with disastrous results .Time tested Ideas are often best .

I am London-Irish, born in London to Irish parents.
My parents were Catholic Republicans. I dated an English girl while I was living in London. When my parents found out my girlfriend was Church of England (Protestant), they gave me an ultimatum. Either I would have to dump her or they would disown me. I left home when I was 21 and never went back. I carried on dating my girlfriend, and my parents disowned me. They did not speak to me for 9 years, then they both tragically passed away.
It has never mattered to me what religion someone is. I am an Atheist, and believe the world would be more peaceful with no religion. I think that religion creates more wars than it does create peace. I am pleased that things have moved on in my life time and there are more mixed marriages. I can understand how it can be difficult in mixed relationships, it works for some but not all. I went against my parents bigoted views and paid the price for it, but I have no regrets. They chose to disown me for dating a Protestant girl. That was their choice, not mine.

I think for the health of the nations genetic pool, interracial procreation should be enforced across the board. Maybe in 4 or 5 generations we could get an Irish nation that could get a tan.

That is wrong. People have the right to settle with who they wish to. There more ethnicities that consits of skin colours other than black and white, there are yellow and brown skinned ethnicities and mix ethnicities also.
