suarez will play tomorrow regardless me thinks. The support the club has shown him throughout surely means they'll appeal any potential ban.

They really need to hurry the fúck on, classic FA really

If FA find him guilty,Will club then fine him too or dock him wages for misconduct? Or will club still find him innocent while FA find him guilty,

In a court he would be innocent, FA will charge him on there personal opinions,Not very professional ! Would not stand up in any court of law

Suarez should take FA to court to clear his name in that case !! Would be
correct thing to do ,,If Suarez is sure of his innocence !

I'd imagine and hope the club would stand by him and help him clear his name, I cant see a fine coming from the club, why punish him twice.

If he was found guilty I would want the club taking the FA to court to clear his name and prove to any potential doubters just how ridiculous the FA is

If they find him guilty, then he will be labelled a racist for rest of his life,
Its a hell of a thing to do to a man with out solid proof,
    Hope they realize that,

No he won't, being found guilty of a racism charge by the fa does not make you a racist and most people are welll able to make that distinction.

A lot of people are able to make the distinction, but there's a lot of people who actually can't.

And out of many of those who can make the distinction, many simply won't because they'll want to use it as a stick to beat Suarez with regardless.

Life could become difficult for Suarez if there's a guilty verdict so the FA would want to get this right.

Apparently he's been fined + banned, Ban is suspended till New year when appeal is lodged, Allegedly Ban is more than 5 but less than 10 games...

Pure speculation from a mate .

    Bit harsh imo (if true)

You said this, "Apparently he's been fined + banned", and then you said "Pure speculation from a mate".

The whole thing is actually a load of bollocks at this stage. I'm sorry, but just how I feel about it now. F.A are such a joke of an organisation.

14 days from now is the date of the league match with Man City, so I'd guess that he would be eligible for that if there is an appeal? Based on that, the matches that would be missed would be (assuming we get through the FA Cup 3rd round)

    6 Jan 2012 Oldham H 20:00
    11 Jan 2012 Manchester City A 19:45
    14 Jan 2012 Stoke City H 15:00
    21 Jan 2012 Bolton A 17:30
    25 Jan 2012 Manchester City H 19:45
    28 Jan 2012 FA Cup 4th Round
    31 Jan 2012 Wolves A 20:00
    6 Feb 2012 Tottenham H 20:00

    First game back?

    11 Feb 2012 Man United A 12:45

On a completely unrelated note, you can cast a vote for Suarez as the Goals on Sunday PL player of the year to be announced on sky sports on Christmas day. He is currently in a narrow lead over Van Persie.

anyways assuming the ban wont be overturned, we're looking at carroll up front or would people stick bellamy into the suarez role, i dont think he could do it but what to do.

I am pretty certain Liverpool will bring in another forward in the transfer window. That is almost certain. They have being looking very carefully at Twente's Luuk De Jong apparently.

Cant stop laughing at the hyocripsity of Liverpool and its fans tonight. Fans on here ****e talking about innocent until proven guilty, but yet a Club Statement going on about previous false accusations by Evra. Does he not deserve the right to be innocent until proven gulity also?

Evra admitted to abusing Suarez, it was Suarez who said he never heard it. I'm struggling to see where you're coming from TBH

I'm an Arsenal fan so I'm glad Suarez is going to be missing some time which will hopefully cost you points, but eight games is a joke. I thought he'd get maybe four but likely less, was expecting about a two game ban with another two suspended sentence or something.

With that being said, Carroll hasnt exactly set the world on fire so how do you think you guys will fare over those few weeks? Some tough games for him to be missing. Are any of you expecting to keep up the pace without such an important player for such a lenght of time, or are you expecting this to maybe cost you the shot at a top four finish?

Since its my first post in this thread I had better say this too. I hope no-one takes this the wrong way as I am genuinely asking for opinions here and am not trying to wind anyone up. Apologies if I failed in that regard.

Most people in here are pretty reasonable you'll find. With regard to your question it will be hard to see us really threaten the top 4 position when we are missing our best player. That said it will give an opportunity to others to step up & stake their claim. We haven't really caught fire yet goal-scoring wise so big chance for Bellamy / Carroll / Kuyt / Gerrard.

Something like this can galvanise a team, make them stronger. If we can do OK while he is suspended it will be like having a new signing for the last few months of the season. This is obviously the glass-half full approach.

Unfortunately the bar is being set really high this season for a top 4 position. Fierce competition between Arsenal / Chelsea / Spurs / Lpool, all fighting for 2 places. Missing Suarez for 8 games will seriously hurt our ambitions

Its a tough run but its only Spurs out of the top 6 and the Carling Cup is meaningless now.

Its big pressure on Andy and up to a month or go I'd have said he'd have thrived on it but I've a notion the last month or so has knocked his confidence.

The options now are Andy up front or Kuyt. With Carroll you really have to play Downing and I'd prefer Bellamy myself. A run of games might actually do him the world of good. When he got a few runs in a row a while back he played reasonably well and scored!
