Best Gig - Confined to Ireland and no more than 3.

I decided today that I was going to buy that latest Tim Hecker, walked down to Tower Records after work all set to make my purchase to find it out of stock

The planned spend however certainly did not go to waste, ended up with this instead which is just shockingly good and absolutely in with some of the best music I've heard this year!

Finally, the album I'm pretty excited about but haven't got it yet is 'In Dust' by Roll The Dice - I have the vinyl & CD box set on the way as a gift at Christmas, cannot wait to drop the needle on it sometime Christmas day with a glass of wine in hand and tin of quality street nearby...

Oh finally, and I know this is most likely against the grain but there is one track that has really annoyed me this year and that's 'The Glorious Land' by PJ Harvey - I absolutely hate the frequent burst of bugle, very annoying!
