My phone doesn't have a flash so a skylight is about the best I can do for photographic evidence!

And yes its proper snow, not hail!

Isolated sferic in NW Mayo in the last 30 mins:

The NW and North seems to have the best chance of seeing more of these overnight as shallow showery troughs skirt up along the coast.

Meanwhile, rain showers becoming more frequent here in NE Galway. Roads icy nontheless.

It's probably that spray on christmas snow you get from a can... the lengths some people will go to. :pac:

Harps, we'll need independent scientific laboratory analysis to prove that is real.

Unfortunately, due to the large amounts of hot air that was expelled by Mr. Enda Kenny Dublin will not be allowed any snow.:D

    Greetings to you all...

I am just a blow in..

Every year, just about snowtime I find myself drawn to the Weather forum.

I love it in here. Big thanks to all the techie weather heads who actually understand the charts and post all sorts of interesting links and facts here. Without you I would never know what graupel or thundersnow is :)

so Thank You and I look forward to another happy snowtime reading and posting in here.

Carlow - absolutely not a bit of snow, not even a teeny tiny bit of a flake!
