You can't buy anything in the lead up to Christmas for fear of doing what you have done.
I've dropped massive hints for what I want.
'oh look I've bought a load of games for a ds and I don't have one.'
So should get some sort of a ds.0 -

Just got Metal Slug advance and Bomberman Tournament for GBA.
Metal slug is one of my favorite games series but I couldn't enjoy the GBA version, it just felt off for some reason.In the options menu of Metal Slug advance there's an option to turn auto fire on, makes the game sooo much easier to play.
I completed the game before even noticing this option felt a right tit.:P

I learnt this lesson the hard way about 10 years ago, I now buy nothing frm october till xmas but drop lots of hints. not that it works usually of course.0 -

YAY! Nice work Andrew76. Welcome to the Ibara/Espgaluda PS2 club (I just made up 3 seconds ago).
I just had a look on ebay for Ibara, bugger me, that's pricey! 150 notes at it's cheapest! For a PS2 game!
Espgaluda isn't so far behind either, Wow, you guys must really love shooters! Over and above eating, paying mortgage etc...0 -

Death Label is worse than Ibara by about eleventeensquillion times more.
The standard arcade mode though is beautiful. Probably the best 'Pachi I've played yet. The 'weavin' moments are truly exciting.
Ibara is awesome of course, but it needs LOTS of time investing in it. I'm getting better at it.... by better I mean by about 0.00000000000000000000001%. So worth it though but the scoring mechanics are still wrecking my head.
I love them all though, obviously. 0 -

I just posted a picture of what it looks like, and how it connects.
I was afraid that by posting the piccy,
i'd give the impression I actually "got something new" rather than "I pre-ordered something"!
Could take another month or two before I get my hands on it,
as its all handled by just one Dutch guy in small batches.
When i say small the last batch was about 100, imagine having to test 100 carts in a row to make sure they work,
as well as assembling the case, and modifying each case slightly so it fits!
Must be Fun!
On another c64 note, it's sounds almost as fun as testing 500+ SID chips in a row like this crazy guy from Australia.
Who managed to source, test and sell over 3000 unused SIDs,
still in their tubing since the days they were manufactured in the Commodore/MOS factories....
He even built that board with the blue ZIF sockets, so he could test 4 chips at a time, to help speed up testing.
That would drive a man crazy, hence the crazy posts for each of his sales!
