RWTM is much better than previous years efforts but still not great.

The main issue I have is with some of the main gameplay mechanics. Some of the move animations have been sped up like crazy to the point where they don't look realistic.

Collision detection on diving moves from the top rope seems dodgy ie when you do some moves, your opponent slides to the side. I noticed this while playing as Drew McIntyre in RWTM.

I might be wrong about this but from what I can see cage moves have been removed. You used to be able to grapple your opponent in the corner and you could slam their head into the cage.

And finally, the physics on the ropes are MENTAL!!!

I still am enjoying the game regardless. I just find it funny how they can make some existing features worse.

Irish Whip him into the cage. Then when he is groggy against the cage, strike to ram his head into the cage or grapple to lift him up and slam him into the cage. Works in Hell-In-A-Cell anyway.

Had an epic hell in a cell match Undertaker vs Kevin Nash last night. Decided not to pin him and just keep on going. And make sure to keep out fo the ring so he can't ping me. Then he countered and we are both knocked out for ages on the floor. It's pretty cool but would never happen in a match normally as someone would have been pinned by that stage. They should have an "epic match" feature where you really have to annihilate your opponent before you can pin him.

One thing the improved AI has lead to is more competitive matches. I had an epic triple threat last night between one of my CAW's, Big Show & Jack Swagger. Loads of near falls, near submissions, reversing 1 finisher into another. I won the match by throwing Big Show over the top rope after he hit Swagger with the WMD

Cheers for that but can you not do cage moves from the corner anymore?

It also looks like they have taken out the ability to do snake eyes on the barrier and replaced it with a headbutt unless someone can correct me?

Finally finished RTWM last night [feeling under the weather for the last couple of days so I stayed in and busted it out]

Is it just me or as HHH [The Outsider] and Joe Cass' [The Hero] pretty tedious and repetitive

ie. All the backstage fights against the same people over and over again, and handicap matches against the same people

Though I will say this about the hero storyline

that is how the original WCW/ECW invasion should have been booked

Took me good few goes to realise you had to hit them all not just one. Its a great feeling if when you make an arm or leg red and get the submission win. Much easier to win with a head or body submission

If i managed to pick this up second hand, with no online code with it, would i still be able to access Community Creations (if it working properly of course

). I'm not too bothered about playing matches online tho, as it's usually crap every other year anyway

I had to put in my code before i got into the menu.

The Universe mode is a bit of a broken mess really. I assigned all the belts to who I wanted, but it didn't matter, HHH was still the champion and NONE of the created guys ever get a match on the shows. And you can only have 3 shows per week. It really isn't that good at all.

Are your created guys assinged to brands, or are they free agents? cause that might be why they're not getting matches. As for assinging belts. if you can't assign them, the best thing to do would to just book title matches and win them as the wrestler you want as champion. That would proberly get them reconised.

Nope! Total crap the way you have to replace RAW or Smackdown.

Also, moving wrestlers to brands seems to do feck all.

A lot worse.
At least that had made some sort of sense from a wrestling storyline standpoint.

In HHH's rtwm your put in a KOTR tournament yet already being the champ..
In the first week you walk into your locker room and see the whole room, trips gets on the phone to nash and then he appears standing BESIDE you in the same room as you had just seen the whole of a split second earlier. I initially thought it would turn into a dx style bit of comedy.
"Theres no way triple h hadnt seen him when he walked in.." i thought.

But no, not only did he not see him, nash powerbombs triple h in the room and then is never to be seen again for the whole story?!
