Yeah those were frustrating. They should have kept SS and EC straight forward and just been a "win the match" objective. Its like Vince Russo came up with the objectives for those matches.

I think I might actually hate this game.

I've nearly broken my finger hammering R2 because the window for reversals is so small.
The random events in Universe mode are annoying. Every f*cking match it seems like something happens, especially someone random running down to the ring, staying for a minute, then leaving. Or someone acting us during the match with the ref just standing there looking. Why not have him attack the ref first, then attack us?
There is no help whatsoever with the controls.
The comeback that some people can do is far too annoying and unfair. Sure, it may seem realistic, but it shouldn't happen like that in a game. The first part of RTWM took me almost 10 tries because SuperCena would get three punches in and be able to do the AA.

I haven't seen anything yet which is actually an improvement on previous games.

I think my game could be broke..

I get sweet feck all universe cutscenes/run ins/story arcs whatsoever.
I can reverse nearly anything. I dont know if i have some hidden ability to hit the timing perfectly or what. But also it seems that if you button mash the reversal button then it stops the ability to reverse the move being executed on you.

The survivor series match in sheamos RTWM was the most frustrating thing i have ever had to endure in a wwe game.
I can understand that you can only have 6 wrestlers on screen in a match at one time and to have a traditional match you need 5 on each team, but why not have one person eliminated and another wrestler run down the ramp to the ring royal rumble style?
Anyway, its done, im past it, whatever.

Playing Road To WrestleMania with Sheamus and they are obsessed with the idea that Sheamus represents team United Kingdom! He forms a team with McIntyre and Barratt and they even call him Lord Sheamus and he calls the others Lord McIntyre and Lord Barratt. For a second I thought he was going to rename the US belt the UK belt. I don't think they ever made that mistake on TV so disappointing to see iit in the game.

Other than that, the game is a lot of fun!! Moving from Easy to Normal Mode now!

he dumps the US belt and reinstates the European title. And Regal is part of the group as Lord Regal a nod to his WCW days.

a few times in the RTWM.

The Money in the Bank section of RTWM is without a doubt my least fun gaming experience ever. If I wasn't enjoying Universe mode I'd want to trade this game in. Who's idea was it that constant 5 vs 1 matches equalled fun? Jack Swagger is by & far the most annoying character in this game, he reverses everything into a german suplex!?!?!

Swagger really annoyed me in SVR 2011 aswell because even when you beat him he would still german suplex you like 30 times. I'm almost tempted to edit his move list & give him something crappy instead!

Can you not just lower the sliders in the options menu so as the CPU does barely any/to no reversals?

Yeah I could do that but then you destroy the CPU flat out & there's no challenge to that. Also THQ said the CPU would no longer spam running moves too, well that was total BS I can tell you:mad: Kinda sorry I didn't download the All Unlockables pack because Triple H's RTWM is more annoying then Sheamus' was! Hopefully the CAW part will be alright!

Lol, it took me 9 hours to create 4 superstars in WWE. So I only really just started playing the game now.

Anyway, Story mode I can see what people are saying, but I'm cool with it, because my real objective is just to finish the stories as fast as I can so I can deal with other things. As for the WWE Universe. I was playing my 3rd match with one of my created superstars. I had just squash Santino when all of a sudden Brock Lesnar's music starts playing, and he procced to beat the crap out of me. It was a pretty funny moment watching my superstar getting attacked by Lesnar. But it's pretty cool anyway. Overall i'm content with it now, and hoping i'll change to happy as I go closer in. Some nice little fueds starting up in my game that are working out nicely, and the gameplay is pretty cool too. Funny thing is though, as i'm only exploring the game now, the normal settings in the match are proving to be quite challanging. I'm glad I didn't to set the settings to Legend when I started or i'd be proberly blowing a fuse trying to figure the controls out.

Yea, really like it. Backstage matches are so awful though, every single hotspot attack is a shoulder thrust into the wall/car/crate/window unless you're at a door. Really sucks. The Seamus storyline sort of lags near the beginning with so many tag matches and survivor series / bragging rights elimination matches with the cutscene finishes that ruin any sense of achievement in the matches

Survivor Series is done a lot better during the CAW storyline. You still get cut scene finishes but it's 3 on 3 elimination so it isn't quite as bad. The lack of variety in the backstage attacks is a let down also, I'm beginning to think a post on the THQ forums with my dislikes about this game might be a positive.

I have to say though Universe mode really saves the experience for me. Last night I interfered in a Brock Lesnar vs Sheamus match on Smackdown & laid them both out with Zack Ryder

I'm sorry I didn't get the stat customizer last year, I bumped Ryder up to 82, haven't felt the need to change anybody else.

Everytime i interfere in a match, i try to take whoever out, but i end up running out of time and the ref calls a double DQ. Am i doing something wrong?
I cant get out of the ring either for some reason..

Christian's main eventing and two world championships only bumping him up one point from 86 to 87 is a bit lame. He should at least be on the same level as Del Rio.

The end of the Hero part of RTWM was pretty cool, could of done without all the scripted events during the match but awesome in comparison to the other parts

Admittedly I haven't played wrestling games in a few years but the level of detail in Create A Wrestler is astonishing.

Create a finisher is cool. Had an idea for a finisher and created it in a couple of minutes.

Love this game.

create modes are really good. So much time can nbe spent here. The intro video creation package is a nice feature for your created wrestlers.

universe mode is great. I didn't really embrace it before but I love playing differant matches with differant wrestlers. In the past I stuck with one or two wrestlers and my caw's but this year I have played with loads of wrestlers. Daniel bryan and sin cara are great fun to play as.

The game has a built in manual in the pause screen and the thq us site has a full pdf manual you can dowload, its free.

also as said before, reversal in not going to work unless you try to time it right. Mashing results in getting mashed!

Quick question for X-Box users , When you have someone in a submission how to do you try and make them submit ? And also if someone has you in a submission how do you get out?

Enjoying the game so far although they way i unlocked Lesnar was a bit silly since it was on superstars against A-Ry

The problem is the inconsistency of when the prompt appears. Some moves you can reverse straight away, some have to be reversed during the move, some moves have 2 or 3 reverse points, and sometimes when I'm being punched, no reverse prompt comes up at all.

If they had it so that in grapple moves, you press reverse when the move begins, even if the characters are halfway through the move before the reversal actually happens, at least then whether or not a reversal happens depends on the momentum of characters and the settings for how often the player or AI reversals happen

It really annoys me in WWE universe how the computer is always trying to get me to have my two CAWs wrestle each other, despite the fact they're in a tag team with each other. I know that if it happens it could break my team up and turn one heel because it almost happened already. The problem is they just started out as a tag team so I don't really want it to happen. I want to win the Tag Championships first.
