All I have to say is.....€190 for 2 tickets to Rihanna!! 4 tickets for €410!!:eek:

I have never felt less sympathy for callers in my life....the bigger music acts obviously still see Ireland as a cash cow to rip off gig-goers because of these muppets artificially inflating ticket prices.

Hey Joe Duffy - your pet TV show 'Spirit Level' was dropped because nobody cares about this kind of thing.

Drop it from Liveline and talk about Current Affairs, not niche interests.

Your man hasn't a clue about Needaticket.

I could as easily sell him front row tickets for the Beatles reunion concert next year.

wait till the Euro2012 tickets start going on sale...

There'll be a queue of idiots looking for those tickets who have never been to an international game.

They'll be ripe for ripping off

This new producer will put manners on Joe. The good times are here at last! No more religious affairs! No more 'petal'! No more model fire engines!

I would say someone that commands a salary of 400K and dictates his agenda in the midst of a recession-hit RTE will have his opinions heard before some lowly producer...

Well on todays show..... "was it raining at the Eucharistic Congress in 1932, were you there, do you have any memorabilia or memories of it"

I jest ye not, this is how he introduced todays show on the Ronan Collins show today, "was it raining in 1932". Anyone with a memory of that will be 90 or older, so cue plenty of bad lines and waffle and oul fellas in their 60's going on about how their parents went.

Also on are needaticket, who Joe is setting up for another mauling and medical cards along with some prescription drug thats better than another prescription drug.

No word on the biggest story yesterday which is the Mayor of Naas saga, I bet the taxi drivers are raging. ;)
