    Have you been on any dodgy sites lately Teddy?
    It could be someone using a nasty trojan horse malware backdoor exploit in vBulletin to make that appear.. If they could do something like that then they could probably gain access to any information you've put online, maybe even stuff on your hard-drive.

    Seriously, you should probably delete any private info you have on your computer and get a professional to take a look at it ASAP.

    It's unlikely, but its possible..
    The software is usually installed from porn sites, not the mainstream ones really since they'd be shut down fairly quickly, maybe a specialist fetish site?

    I asked a couple of the tech guys to have a look at this forum and the screenshot you supplied. They're as baffled as I am. One of them suggested you do full virus and malware scans and see if that helps at all, but without access to your computer he said that's as much as he can suggest.

    viruses on my end here anyway...
    Perhaps we best shut down boards.ie until the tech guys can finger out this potentially dangerous and unknown virus that is affecting serveral of us here. It doesn't seem right for a website who cares about its users as much as boards do, to leave this undiagnosed virus susceptible to us, the loyal users.

    Teddy. You're the only one that can see it. When Hondasam said that he/she could see it, the it was in reference to the screenshot which he/she couldn't see yesterday. In fairness Zaph is just trying to help you out, and usually the tech guys wouldn't get involved in something that's only affecting one user so if I was you I'd take the advice and run some scans.
