MW3 is only good as a retard filter for Battlefield 3.

The series jumped the shark for me during the MW2 Campaign but still thats a HUGE number of sales. I'm a bit worried that a game like this is selling so many copies. I haven't played MW3 but i'd bet all I own that its much of the same as all COD's. Hope Skyrim gets a few sales it'll be a hard sell on a shelf for a gamer looking for a quick fix.

Same here. I was a huge fan of COD and MW3 is the first one I won't be buying. There has been very little progression in the last few games and the addition of the Elite service for €50 a year is ridiculous.

I'm sure Skyrim will do quite well as a lot of gamers are loyal to the series and it just offers so much value for money. I can't wait to pick it up.

I made the mistake of buying MW3, even though I swore I wouldn't (I really liked the campaign of both previous MW games. Short, but pretty enjoyable).

My biggest complaint with this game is that due to the popularity of the series, it is f*cking impossible to play online. Not from a lag or finding games point of view, but because so many people have become so obsessed with the series that any new player rarely stands a chance online. COD4 was brilliant, because even after a few weeks of not playing it, you could pick it up and have some decent games. No more.

I bought the game on Wednesday and mostly played the campaign. Then I said I'd have one or two games online. Some people were already levels 50+. How? The game had been out for less than two days! Even if you're unemployed.... take a f*cking break from it.

Can see me finishing the campaign over the weekend and trading it in next week. Can't be arsed. Played more online last night and just got consistently creamed in every game. I'm not a sore loser or owt, it's just a game. But in games, there's usually a chance of you winning. Playing MW3 online is the equivalent of fighting Dr.Robotnik in the last level of Sonic 2. I'm just never going to win.

Gabe Newell, founder and CEO of Valve Software, has announced that the online digital store, game library and multiplayer network has experienced a security breach and data loss. The announcement, released today (Thursday), began with the news that the Steam forums had been “defaced” in an attack on Sunday

Just to add to the Steam story, it only seems that it was people with forum accounts that were put at risk; if you're like me and only use it to buy games and not use the forums, you're fine...

Any thoughts on Skyrim for anybody who got it today.
About to watch Ireland vs Estonia. I expect the game to be dire if rte's analysis is anything to go by.

Only played the opening five minutes but thought it was awesome. Seeing
    a dragon
so quick was amazing. Brother has played it for three hours and says he adores it, but then he adored Oblivion and Fallout as well.

Meanwhile, my PC decided to pack it in this afternoon. Spent an hour on the phone to dell, they had me mucking round inside my computer before deciding it was the motherboard which was done in. They quoted me 320 for a new one. Reckon I'll just go buy a new computer tbh....

thats what im talking about. Away goal, lead and playing against a team Kerr beat with the Faroes for almost 2 games. Confidence is high indeed

The Estonian chant is very much like the: "We're here, we're queer" stuff.

Probably at Walters with his village people tash. This game is boring as feck, Estonia are a truly awful side and we'd rather not have the ball on most occasions.

Half watching the Connacht match too on the laptop. HON NIKORA!

You'll probably see the ball in the air less watching rugby. Trap's pin up boys must be Tony Pulis and Sam Allardyce at this stage.

Even Galway Utd are better than Estonia. A absolutely terrible team on every level how did a team as bad as that get as far as this.

Estonia are a great team. This obviously means we are favourites to win Euro 2012.

Liam Brady regarding a tweet saying that Trap should be more attacking:
Is he a twitter or a twit?

    Pissed myself.

Anyone watching League of their Own? One of the questions was who had the longest entrance, and one of the options was Triple H at Mania 22.

Started making fun of him, but Freddie Flintoff said he went over to a training camp last year and was offered a WWE Contract at the end of it :O

    Boo.

I hated Gavin and Stacy but I usually enjoy him in other things.

Hadn't even watched Gavin and Stacey before, only knew him as that guy who did the thing with the England team for comic relief.

League of their own is one of my favourite shows. There isn't a single episode I've watched where I wasn't crying laughing at some point.

I'm assuming you ignore mannequin personality Jamie Redknapp.
