I have never quite got into gaming. Just not sure where I would find the time. They seem like something that if I did give a go to, i would probably get hooked beyond belief, and get fat and single because of :D

So, Ill stick with my Mario Cart thank you very much.

So Massive it even has wrestling refrences by the look of it. Not too many teams will want to play ireland yeah 1-1 vs Estonia has the continent of Europe ****ting themselves.

Look at the other teams that had big first leg leads, they hardly went overboard last night either. Last night was about being safe and getting the 90 minutes out of the way.

There is so much nonsense talked about this Ireland team. They could actually win the thing next summer and have people complaining about them.

It was a great night at the game last night, even if the meat and drink of the playoff happened last Friday.

Seeding is out for the Euro 2012 groups.
1st pot has Ukraine, Poland, Spain and Holland.
2nd pot has Germany, England, Italy and Russia.
3rd pot has Greece, Portugal, Croatia and Sweden.
4th pot has Ireland, Denmark, Czech Rep and France.
These seedings are always all over the place with the hosts being top seeds but Germany not being a top seed is some kinda joke. They'll no doubt get Poland in a oh look what happened here draw. I fancy Germany to win the thing out after seeing Spain's form the last year or so. I think everyone should approach them like Switzerland did at the world cup, just sit deep and they struggle to break you down.

Knowing our luck, we'll get Spain, Germany and England, AND France, somehow :P

Ideal draw for us would be:

    Ukraine
    Italy
    Sweden
    Ireland

Hopefully we get at least 1 or 2 of the above teams drawn with us.

    I disagree with that.
I reckon the ideal draw for us would be
    Poland (definitely weaker than Ukraine)
    England
    Greece
    Ireland

Ireland v Greece may cause your eyes to bleed though

    When is the draw anyway?

No Ukraine are far weaker. Their main man is still Shevchencko, which says it all really. Poland have 2 good keepers, and a good midfield.

Theirs no denying England have a very good team, while Italy have a bit of an ageing team, and they all don't play as a team. Greece are very good defensively, and play like us, so Sweden is the obvious choice.

Italy has had an ageing team for the last 9 years at least according to most people. Don't believe the myth.

Its not a myth, its obvious to see. They've been far from impressive in any recent internationals. Definitly would like to get italy, I think we could nick a win off them. Do you not remember that we beat them 2-0 back in June, and we were not even at home? Italy were dreadful in that game, even though most of the main players were on the pitch. They also only scraped passed the faroe islands with a 1-0 win in the qualifiers.

Because they're old doesn't mean they aren't as up to it as anybody else. These lads are built to last (Just look at Del Piero) and everybody has said they're done even before 2006. Hard for me to look past Germany for Euro 2012.

Italy have also had increasingly poor results since 2006. They have also had their better players retire since then or begin to break down with injury. They were abysmal at the World Cup, only looked like a good team in the last 10 minutes against Slovakia when it was too late.

Damn it who did they qualify for that at the expense of,hmmm oh yeah it was us. The team isn't old either the only ones who are over 30 are Buffon and Pirlo. Imo they are no worse than the likes of france or portugal. Like a lot of countries they ain't bringing through many quality players anymore besides Spain and Germany no country is bringing through players of high quality. Still Balotelli ain't hale bad.

Probably the most overrated player of the past 5 or so years. Yes he has a few odd moments of slight brilliance, but overall hes not up to scratch of the top level.

He's done well this season so far for City. His finishes against united and villa wasn't just slight brilliance either. If he can get consistancy he can be a big asset to them and italy.

Balotelli is hardly a regular for Italy. Plus what exactly does Italy qualifying first place in our group have to do with whether their results have been getting worse? They went out in the group stage in 2010. They won in in 2006. That is worse. We're hardly a yardstick for top class international quality. We we are a decent, hardworking, difficult to beat team. Nonetheless, any top team will expect to finish ahead of us.

Also, I did say that their better players from 2006 are retiring or breaking down. The replacements are not as good. I didn't necessarily say that the current team is full of 30 somethings.

You said they were abysmal at the WC but it was more or less the same team that got past us to get there. As for Balotelli he's first choice now that Rossi is out and Cassano had a stroke either of them in particular cassano will do well to recover for the Euro's. I genuinely think only Spain, Germany & Holland have improved since Italy last won the world cup England, France, Portugal, Italy all have gotten worse with squads that are aging and not being replaced with players of the same quality. You could add Argentina and Brazil to them teams going nowhere at the moment.

Why is that important? It has nothing to do with my point. They were awful at the world cup. How they snook past us is irrelevant. As said above, we are hardly standard bearers in international football. It is not as if they easily topped the group either. We could have won it with a bit more luck and professionalism.

Regarding Balotelli, it remains to be seen if he is first choice at the tournament. He has not featured that often up until now. I imagine he will play, but I can see why they would leave him out of the first team.

France are much better now than at the World Cup (i.e. the time period I am talking about). So are England now that there is more balance to the team. Portugal are a work in progress, but have been going downhil since 2006. Maybe they have found a system that suits Ronaldo now. They were unlucky to get Spain so early in the last world cup as well.

Argentina and Brazil look like they are rebuilding for 2014 and I expect them to do very well. Messi lifting the World Cup in the Maracana might be the image of the tournament.

If Italy are an ageing team, then what are Ireland? 7 out of the 11 that started last night are in their 30's.

Ireland will likely have the highest average age in the competition next year, and while this wealth of international experience may stand the team in good stead, unfortunately I can't foresee Ireland finishing in the top two in any group regardless of any possible permutation of teams in the group.

For the record, I think the most hopeful group for Ireland would be -

    Ukraine
    Russia
    Sweden
    Ireland

This German side's midfield and attacking force looks insane, Ozil, Khedira, Muller, Gotze, Gomez,Kroos, Muller, Klose (beast Internationally) and Schweingsteiger to name a few.

    We all remember Bastian's missus?

Mario's out? Thought it wasn't for another week! Ya picked up Zelda; four hours in, just arriving at the first dungeon (maybe! i'm not sure lol) now. This is gonna be a long haul :)

It's slightly hilarious but awesome that so many mechanics from Wii Sports Resort are directly implemented - skydiving, sword-play...other things i can't think of.... It's so much more responsive with the wii motion plus; you can't chuck things or swipe just by flailing the wiimote, ya gotta do it properly!!

Only thing is that I forgot how jaggedy games look on the Wii; absolutely dirt-rubbing resolution; which is a shame since the art style is gorgeous. All i want is the wii to output in 720 or 1080... It actually looks slightly better using the scart cable and 480i...smooths out the jags a bit

I'm 99% sure its out now,Mario Kart 7 (hate that name) is out then in a fortnite (dec 2nd). Both better deliver i've played my ds lite more than the 3ds since I bought it.

Ur right amazon .co.uk says it's out now; and MK7 (lol) is out December 2nd.

Unfortunately the 3DS's 3D gives me a headache within minutes (like in just over 5 minutes) so i'd have to play it with the 3D off. I wish there was a way around it; i'd actually prefer glasses 3D.... :p

But I heard a semi-spoiler that made me change my tune about Mario 3DS. I'll probably play it as 2D at some point.

Hendo vs Shogun was amazing last nite. Great fight. Hope to **** Liverpool get something at Chelsea today, David Luiz is playing so that looks like a good start.
