    On what grounds exactly?? :D

Has that made the car louder?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,234 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

Nope i didnt fit a decat or anything exciting. I did change my pollen filter though and the result of it is many cuts, another broken piece of plastic behind the dash and not getting dust in eyes when i turn the heater up full. Why the hell do car manufacturers make even the simplest of jobs a nightmare, ill never understand.
Load of torx heads i have, loads of spanners, sockets etc....but did i have the necessary size tool to remove 1 5.5mm nut.....course not! A 5mil and 6mil yes...but no 5.5!

    God bless mini vice grips!

Fitted a complete new sound system today. Everything is completly stock looking. I even got new a pillars for the tweeters...
The entire interior had to be stripped.. Took 2 full days to do. Felt like turning it into a track car so i wouldnt have to put everything back together.. :P

I'm in the middle of respraying my friends civic coupes front bumper. I remember posting the rear bumper I did so this is next on the list. Being the nose of the car it has to be perfect! Quatre to midnight and I'm just applying the first coat of paint now :P

Also have a decat pipe to put in it tomorrow, I'll get pics up soon enough.

Picked up car from garage. Got hedgehog resistor connections cleaned so now its working properly, they did order one but it was the wrong one for the car so they set about getting the old one to work and it does now. Got some bulbs changed and brakes checked thought had an issue with them as there was a vibration in the pedal. They balanced the wheels so seems to be ok now. Ordered new lock nuts as well will pick them up on Monday. A few little issues ticked off the list!

I was expecting that questions and as such have enlisted the help of a group of Nepalese Sherpas until a replacement is found.

They said it couldn't be done, they said I was mad to try. But I did it.

Today I filled the Octavias boot.

As long as there are no sharp or jagged edges it will pass. Check the nct site for more details.
