Playing survival mode with my son was absolutely brilliant, I'll also noticed– you bring a cross your badges from blops and MW2 ;)

I didn't play Black Ops so I don't know if it appeared there first but I am loving the "Stalker" perk :)

Can I also had that I love the sniping in this game (though I'll admit it's a bit overpowered not having to zoom in fully to get a OSK). QS fordayz :pac:

Love the game in general atm, I'm sure that opinion will change later but right now, with so much stuff to unlock/new features to try out, I'm loving it.

4 hours gameplay, tubed once and sniped about 5 times, only delighted!! :) Liking the maps so far, a little built up but nice mixture of sizes etc

using the SCAR mostly, love the sound of it, pretty good gun too

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 3,331 ✭✭✭Splinter

Was gettin heartbroken playing GW with lag and noobtubing etc but once I swapped to playin on my own for a while I started to enjoy it more. I like the kill streak changes tbh, nice variety and you can swap to defensive if needs be quite easily which I love.

One thing I felt, dunno if anyone else feels the same, but it handles REALLY like crysis 2...

levelling up like a Mo fo. M4 is class havent moved off it yet! Using that and MP5 two great guns. Liking the MP its very fast paced and kinda warming to the maps although I still think some are way too small

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 23,301 ✭✭✭✭beertons

Yeah, leveling up really fast. Liking the killstreaks so far. Got kicked a few times, something about no memory left? What's that?

Just a thought check your hard drive. I had an old ps3 40g hd and had to upgrade it to 180g if you put too many games in theta all take up space and really mess up alot of strange stuff.

    I could be completely wrong.

    Love the MP.

Came home, had dinner, watched a bitta telly, then played about 4 or so hours. So much fun so far.

Love the Scar and the Type 95. Not really pushed on the killstreaks yet, like the specialist set up though. Feel like a bit of a fool with how many times I've been caught out by the trapped care package thing, feels great catching others on it though. :P

Haha most definitely. Playing on Seatown with the lads and I threw one, it got a falling impact kill, and 2 subsequent kills upon detonation. :D

Wasn't too impressed nor did I hate it up until earlier when I started using the PP90M1 (I think it's called) and started playing Kill Confirmed. It felt like a new game! Love it! :)

Very happy overall with the multiplayer. Maps aren't great but all the mechanics are right. Great sniping and weapons seem to be balanced a lot more than previous incarnations although that burst rifle seems like it may annoy me in the future, definitely the least annoying first day I've had though.

Played about 2 hours so far of MP, and I'm enjoying it.
The weapons do feel underpowered compared to blops.
The amount of deaths i've had going for a double spray and not killing the first guy #fail

PP90m1 = best gun in the game, its a sup machine gun, has the accuracy of the ACR from mw2 and kills as fast as the ump. :)

    Game will be excellent when:

They change barebones so it actually has decent game modes
They fix matchmaking so that my party will find a game in barebones
They fix matchmaking so that my party will find a game in Team Tact

6v6 makes me puke a little.

Positives: Hit detection is nom nom nom
Guns are really good, and balanced.
Perks seem ok, Ghost v2 is annoying.
Very easy to ban perks/weapons in private games = easy to set up scrims.
The whole private game/theatre system is so much more refined than Black ops. You don't need to create set classes just to ban stuff. You can actually save your rulesets (and it works!). You can actually make your game private (and it works!). There are more places for saving games etc
    Gameplay is fast
Every issue Mw2 had is gone. Though obviously there are some new ones.
Has that addictiveness that black ops severely lacked
Runs smoothly, so so smoothly. Treyarch pay attention.

    Negatives:
Maps could potentially ruin the game
Both the new game modes are awful, Team defender's spawn system is the worst I've ever seen.
Annoying kids on mics (pishhhhhh off!). Ends me when I'm in the middle of a game, headphones on, everybody muted, then some kid whose voice hasn't broken joins and starts screaming, making me deaf in the process.
Care packages - worst idea to ever come to cod. Have already lost win streaks due to people getting AC130s in a care package :/

So far definitely a positive game for me. Though competitive play could be bad due to the maps so I can't make a final judgement yet.

ALSO: When I kill people I can hear their comms for 3/4 seconds (stolen from Killzone?). Is absolute win. Heard some kid pretty much crying yesterday cause I kept 1 bombing him, made my day.

I was wondering why I could hear people when I killed them, its fun alright :D

am I the only person who really likes the new maps/ they're tight, busy, no stupidly large empty areas like Derail and Fuel. people wanted gun on gun fast paced and thats exactly what this is giving people.

I am definitely more sunshine and lollypops than megabitchin' right now.

Straight to multiplayer like everybody else. Some excellent maps, can't recall any right now.

Started campaign too and it was definitely more interesting than BF3 for single player.

how far into the single player are you? the first couple of missions are good, the ones in Paris later on are brilliant. I dunno why people are giving out about the graphics, still looks slick as fcuk.

    I'm just at where
you nab the bomb maker after ploughing his car off the street in Paris, then did the ac-130 overwatch section.
stupid work getting in the way of COD time  think I'll try finish it tonight when I get home, 2hrs or so solid playthrough should do it, I really want to see how it ends.
